I have leftover chuck roast I made on Sunday. Can you give me any suggestions for a casserole or a one pan meal? I need something quick though--only have 30-45 minutes to cook.

I'm looking for a cookbook that has simple, low-calorie/healthy recipes for main dishes that don't include ingredients that need to be purchaced at a specialty store. Basically I just want a cookbook that has recipes with foods that I probably already have in my fridge or cupboard or can easily be bought at the local grocery store. Any that you can reccomend?

I got rebates for Vikingfjord Vodka. 3 bucks off and I mailed them to the place with one for me one for my friend and her name and address and one for my bf and his address! So they all got return to sender address doesn't exist. I checked to make sure the address was abs. correct and it is. I went to their site and there are no contact numbers. What else can I do, I think this is false advertisement and I want to complain and get my money back for all their vodka I bought instead of my usual brand caz they advertised a rebate!!!!

I prefer to cook my chicken rather than fry on a pan. By chicken i mean chicken breasts, chicken legs, chicken thighs etc. NOT whole chickens.

Does anyone know if "broiler pans" (use google image search for pic) are good? Do you have to cover the chicken so it does not burn when u put in on a broiler pan in the oven?
Any ideas for good/healthy sauces to put on chicken breasts in this case?
What temperature do u cook it at?
How long approx.?

I take half a sugar. Most people I know take two.
Unless they're on a diet, then they cut down to one.

What about you?
No sugar, or dangerous levels of sugar, heading to diabetes country?

I like to make ice tea and to store it in 1.5L plastic water bottles. Is it safe to drink the tea if I put it in the bottle while the tea is still hot? Also, can I make sun tea in bottled water bottles?

I am talking about using the beans (or rice for that matter) later as food. Don't like to waste things and I don't bake pie crust all that often.

I have been vegetarian for about a month now (3-4 weeks since I gave up meat). I must say its really hard when it comes to resturaunts, fast food places in general because most of the stuff they have is meat-based and don't carry meat-subsititues (Boca, morningstar, etc...) options when it comes to burgers and chicken patties. It's incredibly frustrating and part of me misses meat (though i really don't want to admit it). What should I do? Have I made the right choice by going vegetarian or should I just go back to eating meat?

(Please don't leave any rude or sarcastic answers, i'm serious).

Thanks in advance. I have a eye round roast. I have always done it in the crock pot - but I thought I might actually try the oven. Am I crazy? Does anyone have a surefire method?

It's a relatively basic fritter made with buttermilk, flour, two cheeses, and a little garlic. The fritters are then fried in vegetable oil. I don't recall the second cheese I used last time, but the first was a 6 year aged cheddar. The result was a rich and gooey center, and I'm trying to come up with a good combination. These will be served with a tomato dipping sauce that is cooked with white wine and basil. Thanks!
