After you open mayo an put it in the refrigerator how long is it good for?

Surprisingly enough, mayo is so "stable" that it doesn't even need to stay refridgerated. (It's full of vinegar, which is a natural preservative.) Granted, it won't taste as great, and warm mayo is kinda gross, but I wouldn't bother pulling it until it's hit its expiration date.

Longer than you think. I once told Chef David that the mayo had been open for a while and he said it lasts months because of stabilizers. But I still don't go past the date.

i would say for at least 6months but i get new mayo every month iam not going to take any chances

A long time....I would say at least up to a year with all the stabilizers and preservatives.

first off it depends how old it is to begin with and how warm it is...the best thing to remember is the old phrase....if in doubt, throw it out
