Hello,

I had some stir fry top cut and put it in a crock pot for seven hours on low heat over some onions. My plan was to make some fajitas. I followed Robin Miller on Food Network and put in beer and a fajita mix I made of cumin, chili powder, red pepper flakes and garlic powder. The meat, however, turned out really dry although I had a ton of liquid (and it was still in the crock). Is it this particular cut of meat? On the package it said top cut for stir fry or fajitas.

Thanks. :O)))).

My friend...cough, cough...can drink nine, twelve, fourteen rum and cokes on a Friday night and have a polite conversation perfectly decently at the end of it. Trashed but not obviously so. She's...cough, cough...26.

She has a family history of addiction and when she plugs in her drinking habits to one of those cheesy online tests, she gets "You're an alcoholic." Okay, it's me. Me! Am I?

Thanks, y'all.

yeah i know, many people drink beer with tacos, but i'm making some chicken tacos and i was wondering if anyone could suggest what wine (or rather type of wine) i should serve... the tacos will be medium-spicy, mostly grilled chicken and vegetables, with some fresh vegetables (tomatoes, cilantro, lime, etc), and a little bit of spicy tomato-based salsa...
thanks!

This question mainly for the millions who are awake and active during the night rather than the others who are active during the day and sleep at night.

I really enjoy drinking milk - I've grown to like it for the taste, the fullness, and the protein, calcium and vitamins it contains. However, I am aware that there are some sources pointing out that Cow's milk may not be so good for you.

If anyone could clear this up for me, that would be great. I drink about a gallon a week of regular 1% milk.

Many people rip out the inside of a loaf of pannini. When I asked someone WHY they did it, this was the reason given. Personally, i think bread is bread whether it is baked crisp or its the soft inside. And removing the inside part only lowers total calories of THAT piece of bread because you are eating less... nothing more. Am I right or wrong?

I'm a vegetarian but... I think it would be disturbing to like go on a date with your boyfriend and you eat a nice vegetarian salad while having your boyfriend sit across from you gobbling down a steak.

I do understand sometimes your boyfriend or girlfriend decides to listen to your opinions and sometimes goes on your side but is it wrong to only date vegetarians if you're vegetarian?

I'm vegetarian because of the animals and my health.

But, seriously, can you picture yourself getting enganged and coming home to a fridge filled with dead animals? When you'd much rather come home to a fridge filled with veggies and fruits and meat subtitutions.

What is all the hype about being a vegetarian or a vegan? PETA is only trying to open the public's eye about what they are putting into their mouth. Stop attacking and start being informed.

And what if you have to pay your mortgage and car note and don't have a college degree yet? As soon as possible I am going to go back to school so that I can be a teacher of something real. Am I exploiting the system in which I don't believe?

The animals are already dead when you buy them in a supermarket, so is not eating them really going to change anything? I don't mean to offend anyone, and, in fact a vegetarian lifestyle can be more healthy in some ways, but if your only reason for not eating meat is a moral reason, then you need to seriously think about this. You don't kill the animal if you just eat it.

By the way, I'm the sort of person that you would probably think of as a monster. I love to hunt, and I've killed several deer, turkeys, and one black bear. It's fun, the meat is tasty, and atleast in my opinion, there is nothing wrong with it if you don't waste the meat and if you kill the animal humanely. In nature, animals kill other animals all the time, and human beings are, to some extent, animals, so it is just natural for humans to hunt and kill other animals.

Do people who want the Japanese Government condemned for allowing the slaughter of dolphins also condemn the US Government for allowing the slaughter of chickens, pigs and cows?

Why do they single out KFC for the slaughter of chickens but ignore all other chicken slaughterhouses?

Are they all 2007 versions of Brigit Bardot, condeming the seal hunt wearing while wearing a mink coat?
