This is a paragraph I've cut'n'pasted from the link below, which should answer your question. "You can enjoy green tea during any season. Green tea can be served hot or cold and still provide a host of health benefits. While sugar and lemon are not thought to alter the antioxidant content, milk may bind to the antioxidants and make them unavailable to the body. To brew a potent cup of green tea, make sure to steep the tea bag for at least 3 minutes. Otherwise, all of the antioxidants may not end up in the tea. If you’re concerned about caffeine, a 6-ounce cup of green tea contains approximately 30 mg. That’s much lower than coffee, which has about 100 mg per cup."

A 2006 German study found that adding milk to black tea destroys its ability to protect against heart disease.
The researchers found that drinking black tea significantly helps the arteries to relax and expand to keep blood pressure healthy.
The tea compound, called catechin, is responsible for this beneficial effect by stimulating the production of chemical nitric oxide,
But animal milk contains a protein called casein. These proteins bind to the catechins, reducing their concentration and effectiveness.
However, Professor Steptoe also said that as there were about 200 bioactive compounds in tea. The apparent harmful effect of milk "does not necessarily mean milk negates the other effects of tea".
Conclusion? May be. Tips? Use soya milk instead of animal milk - read the link below to find out more.

Well if you drink 6 oz of pure green tea or 6 oz of milk and green tea, the pure green tea has more antioxidents. If you have 6 oz of green tea + 2 oz of milk, its the same as the 6 oz cup of green tea.

Wholw milk would be best but definitely use the 1 precent over the soy, add a table spoon. Use honey if you like honey in your tea or if you like sugar, I use a little of both. Only re heat it if you feel it's not hot enough for you some people like it HOT and some people like it warm
