Do people who want the Japanese Government condemned for allowing the slaughter of dolphins also condemn the US Government for allowing the slaughter of chickens, pigs and cows?

Why do they single out KFC for the slaughter of chickens but ignore all other chicken slaughterhouses?

Are they all 2007 versions of Brigit Bardot, condeming the seal hunt wearing while wearing a mink coat?

It's another of those things that comes under the "cute and cuddly" opinion. You will always find people who will jump up and down about the killing of animals that look sweet (dolphins etc) or animals that are generally considered pets (cats/dogs etc) and yet are perfectly happy to tuck into a plate of beef, chicken etc.
You will also find that many people believe that the slaughter of whales and dolphins is abhorrent because it may well lead to the extinction of those animals in the wild. There is no breeding program for whales or dolphins, whereas as we all know, millions of chickens, pigs, sheep, cows etc are bred every year specifically for the meat industry.
Personally, I see no difference between the two. I do not differentiate between animals. They should all be allowed to live out their natural lifespan and no animal should be killed or eaten by a human. That's why I choose the vegetarian lifestyle in the first place. But there will always be people whose ethics/morals only reach a certain point, then they switch off.

KFC is just the next company in line.

They targeted McDonalds first (with success)
Then they went to Burger King (with success)
Then they went to Wendy's (with success)

And they do target slaughterhouses, they had undercover video at Pilgrim's Pride showing rampant abuse.

You can't protest a slaughterhouse though, they're not visible, nor are they accessible to the public.

Some people who are opposed to whale hunting are also vegetarian. Others just care about whales.

I am totally with you on that one! Why chose one to target and ignore the rest. Shut them all down, I say. Wouldnt it be cool if a vegetarian got voted into office? Then, things would change!!

They single out KFC for pumping them up with so many growth hormones that they can't even walk .
(Which is my theory as to why so many kids are way huge these days . . .
You are what you eat AND what it ate)
They not opposed to being an omnivore, rather the way you treat the animals during their life .
Like why people oppose foi gras .

STRONGLY suggest you start reading the material and NOT just the headlines ,
Reading just headlines does make people appear rather shallow and low on the learning curve .
