What is "Mastercook" that you see mentioned on some websites?

I don't understand why with some people a link comes out in a YA answer as a link, with others it comes out as incomplete typing only (that you can't click on).

It is software for recipe management. http://mastercook_cupboard.tripod.com/

I've seen it mentioned at the end of some recipes from www.recipesource.com & guess the contributer must have exported the recipe from their files to the site.
