I'm looking for a cookbook that has simple, low-calorie/healthy recipes for main dishes that don't include ingredients that need to be purchaced at a specialty store. Basically I just want a cookbook that has recipes with foods that I probably already have in my fridge or cupboard or can easily be bought at the local grocery store. Any that you can reccomend?

.....or even a website with healthy, easy to make meals would be great too.

"The Best Light Recipe" by America's Test Kitchen
I bought this as a wedding shower gift for my friend & she loved it.

Cooking Light publishes cookbooks annually focusing on the best recipes of that year. Available @ bookstores; search for free shipping or discounts (sales, Costco, etc.)
example: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-url/index=stripbooks&field-keywords=cooking%20light%20cookbooks&results-process=default&dispatch=search/ref=pd_sl_ya_flat-hi_bookspi_30561937_1&results-process=default

You can try out a few of the recipes on their website first:
www.cookinglight.com - limited access for public, unlimited access w/ subscription to magazine or access code from current month's issue.

Note: If you decide to subscribe to the magazine, be sure to opt out of marketing programs. The publisher sent me a cookbook about wine I did not order. I was able to return it & have them pay the postage.

I canceled my magazine subscription any way to avoid future hassles.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMF6L

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

Weight Watchers has a recipe book called 'Simply Delicious', the recipes are easy to follow, low calorie, and taste pretty good (I have the book).

Hope that helps! :)
