I recommend 375 degrees. This will give you crisp chicken without burning the barbecue sauce.

I cook mine on 350 degrees. If you are afraid the sauce will burn then cover with foil. Once it is done then pull off the foil and cook for 15 to 20 minutes more to make it crisper.

bake at 400 degrees covered for 15 minutes then remove the cover and bake 5 more minutes (this is for 4 average size breasts) This way the chicken bakes first then removing the cover will help the bbq to set.
