A day or so after I brought it home from the store, and took off the peeling, a lot was black on the outside, and around the core was really grey (is this some kind of mold)? This is only like the 3rd avacado Ive bought, so wondered if it had gone bad, or is this normal.

My husband and I have a disagreement about this. I say that his family is unusual in that they never used black/white pepper in seasoning or cooking. He contends that I overestimate the percentage of people who use black pepper on a daily basis. I think that there is a very good reason why salt and pepper are on most people's table, whereas he thinks those two flavorings are more historical (from a time when other spices were not as widely available) rather than a reflection of today's cousine. Please help us settle this argument.

sorry this might sound like the most boring question ever but i work in a fast food restaurant and it is my job to clean the griddle at the end of the day. when we come to use the griddle the next day all the food sticks whether we use oil or not. it says on the packaging of the grillstone not to clean down to a shiny surface as this may remove the cure or nonstick coating but it also says remove all burnt on residue, the only way i know to remove all burnt on residue is if i see a shiny surface so i cant win, also i have heard that ice onto the hot grill removes all the food residue , is this true and if so how exactly do i do it.

I was wondering where I could buy imported pistachio nuts. I was reading an article in Gourmet that stated that Iranian pistachios were best, is this true? If so, where can I buy them online in the U.S. Also, the article recommended Turkish pistachios? Does anyone know which varieties (e.g., which kinds) have the best flavor, and where I can obtain these. Thanks so much in advance!! Brittany

As we all know, B12 must be obtained from an animal. Therefore, anyone who follows a cult vegan diet will obviously suffer from B12 deficiency and this will result in irreversible brain damage. Does anyone know the extent of the brain damage?

It's a drink mix that comes in a wavy bottle and I think it comes in blue raspberry, sour apple and watermelon flavours.
The waves on the bottle make it so the bottles can all fit together if you push them together.

I have never made lasagna before, nor have I ever seen anyone else make it. I am trying to make lasagna for my husband's birthday because it's his favorite meal. I have already prepared the lasagna, but now I am unsure of what temperature the oven should be preheated to, how long to cook it, and whether or not it should be covered with tin foil. Thanks in advance for your advice.
