As we all know, B12 must be obtained from an animal. Therefore, anyone who follows a cult vegan diet will obviously suffer from B12 deficiency and this will result in irreversible brain damage. Does anyone know the extent of the brain damage?

What do you mean by "Check out my website. It is true."?
You are not saying that http://www.biblelife.org/ is your website, do you? What, check out your website as a proof you are right? How ridiculous is that???
And even if it is not your site, do you know that referring to one single website with a doubtful content is not the professional way to manifest a completely distorted truth about facts?
How many times are you going back to this "source of information" until you have completely exhausted all the topics there?

And stop threatening and insulting people here!
Nobody has the least respect for you, and ah..we are all so scared! What, you are not only the spokesman against vegans, you are also the watchdog for Yahoo now? Very impressive!
You are a retard! Report me! "Gentlemen from Yahoo, this guy is a fanatic, twisted minded retard!" Oh, I forgot, according to you, we are the retards because we all have a brain damage. (I have a PhD and two MAs, do you, foxhunter_guy?)

No, Yahoo is not exchanging emails with you! Stop spreading lies!
But I have reported you AGAIN,. this time not only for insulting people, but for harrassment.
And I will do it every time you threaten someone.

You do not need meat, nor is B12 the only source of it. It is richly found in seaweeds and other grains and sources. It is obvious to me that you are just trying to assuage your own guilt and get a rise out of vegans. You say you have documented everything. You are 100 percent convinced that you are absolutely correct, so there is likely very little anyone could say to someone who has decided that THEY have the answer, and have closed their minds. If you TRULY wanted the answer to this, and had an open mind, I would try to answer it, but its obvious you do not want to hear others opinions, so I wont bother. If you want an accurate answer, close your mouth, and open your mind. You can email me if you chose to do that, otherwise, whats the point of being mean spirited to those that don't share your views? Does it make you feel better? By the way, I am vegan, and hold several advanced degrees, so no brain damage here, thanks

First vegan is not a cult. Second: I just read up on this subject and its more heart related illness than brain damage. So you are wrong there too. Vitamin B12 can be gotten by eating plenty of B12 rich cereal which most vegans eat with soy milk. Having a vegetarian diet does take some management to make sure you get enough of everything but it is possible.

Oh dear foxie another poorly researched question with another dodgy vegan hating site as proof lol.I can't believe you are still placing faith in a site called biblelife.org.Hardly a trust inspiring name!

Yes we do need B12 but it does not have to come from meat or animal food.Wild rice, brown rice and various other grains, nuts and seeds have it in.Many soy milks are fortified with it.Marmite and Vegemite are both vegan and both contain high amounts of B12.

And before anyone says otherwise yes marmite and Vegemite are vegan-yeast is a fungus(a mushroom basically) not an animal.

I must have told you this 100 times foxie but being vegan is not a cult. And as for saying we should eat meat because we have incisor teeth!Deer and sheep and all grazers have incisor teeth are they to eat meat?Nope they are to help them bite off leaves and other parts of plants.

You are grossly misinformed. B12 can be obtained without eating meat just fine.

Now go troll some other place.

All you are doing is attacking people for correcting you.
If you can't handle intelligent discourse than we don't need/want you here.

By-the-way, in turn, you have been reported to Yahoo. Expect an "interuption" (sic) in your service.

Yeah I know you will be peeved off at me for putting an end to your fun today, but part of being a good girlfriend is knowing when to step in to her boyfriends business.

Don't listen to him lol. He is just entertaining himself by being annoying, he loves the reactions you all give him! Believe me I know what a big tease he can be (=. For those of you who don't already know Foxhunter is a vegan. We started dating 8 months ago, I was really inspired by his point of view on being a vegan so I became one too! and with all his support and his help I have been a vegan for nearly 6 months now.

So yep I will be on here regularly to keep him in line. I can tell he drives everyone bonkers, but like I said just ignore it cause he doesn't believe all the cr** he says on yahoo!

And just so you all know he uses nutritional yeast as a source of vitamin B12, he loves to put it on his pasta even.

Have a great day!!!!

Wow. The one thing that just rubs me the wrong way is intolerance under the guise of religion.

Since you like the bible so much, isn't there a section in there that says something about not judging other, lest you be jodged yourself. (Jesus himself saying to the crowd getting ready to stone Mary Magdalene chastised them with "Let the one among you without sin throw the first stone."

Maybe you should learn to lookk inside yourself and learn you to be abetter person without worrying about what other people are eating.

Oh and if you feel the need to report me for this, please go ahead. I guess you might report me under the heading of Tolerance. or maybe non-judgemental. (Those must be sins in your book.)

B12 is a bacteria. If you stop brushing your teeth you can actually grow your own bacteria.

B12 is in meat because cows eat their poop. The bacteria has crown in the poop.

B12 is also found on veggies fertilized with said poop before they are washed. But since we veggies don't care to eat the poop we wash it off. We then supplement our B12 with Nutritional Yeast. This B12 is grown in a healthy environment on molasses.

Speaking of healthy... Did you know that anemia and B12 deficiency in meat eaters is on the rise? Once again we veggies prove to be more healthy. Due to the prolific use of antibiotics and steroids in factory farmed meat, your B12 is killed off.

Everyone needs B12 and it is available in little tablet form. It is also in brown rice and wild rice. Vegetarians manage to get both. There is nothing wrong with the vegan diet., as evidenced by the fact that vegans live longest., with better health. They are smarter. They are more humane to people and animals alike.
