My mother has just made a pizza and she is adamant that you should not put parmesan cheese on pizza - it is not an Italian thing because it does not melt. (So, how come we make parmesan biscuits?) Please tell her I am right. You can put parmesan on pizza.

I want to have a graduation party in early june. dinner and dancing and drinks for about 100 people. the budget i set with my dad will be 5000k. i want a good dj that can spin hiphop, reggae, rb, soca,etc. and has club experience. how much should i expect to pay for a party that will last 4-5 hrs? how do i go about finding a good dj?

Is it really so vegetarians can feel they fit in? I've eaten veggie burgers at bbq's and it really seems to draw more attention to the fact that I'm not eating what everyone else is eating. And, isn't that somehow defeating the purpose if we eat products that look like real meat products?-don't vegetarians WANT to eat differently?

Help! This weekend I attended a rather raucous festival in an outdoor biergarten and I was spilled upon several times. This being February in snowy Wisconsin, I wore my good ski jacket to the beer-fest event. The jacket is a typical ski jacket, with a wind-proof, water-proof outer shell. The inner shell doesn't smell. It's just the outside. I have washed it once and it still wreaks like stale beer. Does anyone have any good suggestions of how to remove said stench from a ski jacket? The jacket is machine-washable, so if you know of any good detergents, please enlighten me. Tide does not work. The beer that was spilled on me was mostly of the doppelbock (very strong in both alcohol content and odor) variety, if that helps you with your answer.

I would like to buy a starter culture to make my own yogurt (in a little yogurt making machine). Which is the best starter to use? I am looking for one that contains as many healthy bacteria as possible and that also tastes great. Any recommendations? Also, where would I be able to purchase the whatever you recommend? Thanks!

Yeah, this is a serious question, so I don't need to look on a label. I want to keep 2 or 3 chickens so we can have fresh, untainted supermarket eggs to eat. Problem is, I've no idea how long you can keep them before they go off. I know eventually they will start to smell, but I've often wondered how old eggs are that you can buy off the shelves.
