Whenever my family can't decide, we have "breakfast" for dinner. let's face it - the days of Mum staying home in the morning and getting up early to prepare a "nice hot breakfast" are kind of long gone - at least in THIS household!

So, depending on what we've had recently, we have a real breakfast - with orange juice and milk and some kind of meat (bacon, sausage or ham) and pancakes (or french toast, eggs in many forms - scrambled, fried, in an omelet, coddled, boiled, whatever - oatmeal, etc.) and tea.

It makes it nice, and everyone loves to sit down at the table together to talk together. It seems "cozier" if that makes any sense. And when do your kids want to actually sit down and talk with you?? Works GREAT.

We just had chilli and chips. It was lush. i do it in the slow cooker and it is fab! Also made a quiche for tomorrows tea which is looking good too.
