Avocados are good with sour things........lemons, salsa or salty stuff like chips, or beans. It is hard to say with one avocado what you could do for two people but you could turn it into a sauce for a salad instead of the usual dressings......but again don't know if it would be enough....but you could add tomatoes, some onion, some cilantro, a bit of salt & pepper, yougurt, and mix on a blender. If you want a bit of spice add some jalapeno but becareful with the seeds!!

Remember if you don't add any oil to your salad before you give him the meat platter take him to bed and you will see the big difference from the oil dressing!!!

Although avocados are fatty remember they have vegestable fat which is good for you unlike Animal Fat that produces clogging in your arteries.......for better dishes you should get two or three avocados.

Good luck!!

Halve it and remove the pit. Score it gently in a diamond pattern with a sharp knife down to the peel, being careful not to cut through the peel. Sprinkle it with balsamic or red wine vinegar and some salt and fresh ground pepper--make sure it is ripe and soft. We had a tree and we always ate them like this--it is really good--the tartness of the vinegar cuts the richness of the avocado.

You can mash it up and mix garlic or garlic salt in it and tomato. If you have chilie you might want to put some chopped chile into it also. Then you can have a dip for the use with chips. You can also fill it with chicken or tuna salad after opening it up and taking the pit out. You can mix it with a little mayo and soy sauce and make a dip for artichokes.
