In Washington State, and possibly elsewhere, there is a cut-off selling time at 2 AM for alcohol. I am unsure why this is. I work graveyard and find myself on my days off desiring a nice cold beer under moonlight and even sunrise with my lunch or dinner. So why am I not allowed to buy beer (if I haven't any in my fridge already) at a certain window of time? It seems only to rouse anger and frustration.
Any clues to justify this law?
