Its true, if you buy shop bought nan breads or dumplings the moths lay their eggs in the flour and are cooked with the rest of the recipe, moths, maggots, eggs the lot. I worked in a bakery for a few years. They are harmless but horrible to think off. I dont eat them any more.

can make my roses a month ahead of time freeze them and then put them on the cake?

i have to make a wedding cake and i'm going to put roses on it, but i have a 1 year old and its hard for me to do all things that needs to be done all in a day or two; so i was wondering if i can do them in my spare time and then freeze them and put them on the cake when im ready

Does Calphalon cookware have a limited lifespan ?

I have a calphalon saute pan that's at least 10 years old. Was probably the first decent piece of cookware that I bought after college. Lately it seems like everything sticks to it, far worse than it ever did.

Does it lose its non-stick (iness?) capabilities over time ?

I have a le crueset omlette pan that seems to be doing the same thing, though it isn't quite as old, or frequently used ?

Anyone have any info to share ?

I can drink milk with no problems and eat different types of fruit. What's in bananas that makes me very ill?

I had a small piece of banana this morning, and sure enough, less than hour later I felt terrible. I was nauseous, and had stomach cramps, severe diarrhea, vomiting. From now on, "No banana splits."

PLEASE tell me WHAT IS GOING ON ....?

For some reason my answer to "What is your favorite ice cream flavor?" was deleted.
I said that I like coconut ice cream, that I find it refreshing and that I also like chocolate ice cream.
What is wrong with that?

Recipe from when I was little??

I remember a recipe from an alphabet cookbook put out by gold medal flour when I was little it was H is for Ham and Swiss Pastry bake I believe. Does anyone out there have it or atleast know what I'm talking about?? I loved this stuff and I can't find it anywhere. My mom has long since misplaced the cookbook she says she thinks we kids used it to death. My husband has heard about it from me and my siblings and really wants me to make it. He is also a big fan of ham and swiss. I'm not great cook and this was an easy recipe Thanks!
