Grilled bone-in Ribeye steak (cooked medium-well), a baked sweet potato with butter OR a baked potato (loaded with green onions, butter, sour cream, bacon and cheddar cheese). A piece of garlic bread and a glass of lemonade or iced tea. For dessert, a slice of fresh strawberry pie with whipped cream.

Thanksgiving. Turkey with all the trimmings. Mashed potatoes, lots of gravy, cranberry sauce, peas, carrots, hot crescent rolls (mmmmmm) with lots of butter, stuffing (I like mine with a little sweet Italian sausage mixed in), throw in a small scoop of yams with melted marshmallows on top and some mashed turnips for Grandpa.

My mouth is watering....

Lasagna. Definitely. Think about it... it's got all of your basic food groups: veggies (onions), tomatoes (fruit), cheese (dairy), beef (meat), pasta (bread), and fats/salts (the tip of the food pyramid). Everything your body could want and need.

It's nature's perfect food!
