If I began drinking at say 6:00p.m-1:00a.m and consumed 13 beers, would it still be in my system at 12:30 pm?

Alcohol is removed from your system at a rate of about 1oz per hour. Mostly through urination but also through sweat and simply breathing. The liver takes care of the rest.

The average can of beer has roughly 1oz of alcohol in it so you will process out around one can of beer per hour. If you drink 13 beers in seven hours that's nearly two cans per hour so you would still have alcohol in your system by 12:30.

If you want to be safe, have no more than one beer per hour and stop drinking one hour before you plan to leave. You'll likely still have some small amount of alcohol in your body at that time, but you should be safe to drive.


P.S. Take note that this doesn't hold up if you're drinking wine. While a 12oz can of beer has about 1oz of alcohol, for wine it's a 5oz glass that has 1oz of alcohol so you'd be able to drink less wine that beer.

yes yes yes the rule of thumb for men no more than 2 an hour if you drink 13 beers in 7 hours your gonna be legally drunk(not to mention broke) even if you don't think your that drunk the police will too bad they didn't have some kind of businees that takes people to and from places when they don't have a vehicle or wait do they oh! they do if you can afford 14 beers than u can afford a taxi.... please do not drink and drive it is so dangerous not just for you but innocent people like me who drink at home or at friends houses or who get wasted somwhere and then we call a taxi and in our area (a touristy costal area) we have the tow and go if your to drunk to drive the local beer distributors offer free tow trucks to come get you and than they tow your car to your house so everyone is safe...to bad most people around here don't use it i have used it twice its free and doesn't take too long look into these types of programs in your area a dui is not worth it.. i think they use extra precaution in our area because 17 to 20 people per year get run over (not wrecks run down over while they are walking) here and most flee the scene only to get caught ..so have fun and party just do it so that u won't hurt anyone unintentionally

hi, Rammie! i'm getting aggravated each so often. generally because i'm no longer in the mood to imagine. My job is intellectually complicated, and some days, I only opt for to veg. yet although, the in reality authentic challenge i have encountered those days has been extra of a impolite remark. i have considered a tremendous type of folk on right here those days claiming that agnostics are this and that, and maximum of them are incorrect. So, i wager it truly is no longer the type of challenge you're talking of. besides the undeniable fact that the only ideal authentic challenge I had got here from a Christian, and we had an really lengthy talk. It became stimulating and exciting. Then he used it hostile to me later on, and that i enable him have it. Only 13? Wuss. But yes, it can still feel like you're drunk even that far away. Drink a lot of water, eat a burrito from your local 24- hour Taqueria (Del Taco works too), and sleep in late.
