I had a small piece of banana this morning, and sure enough, less than hour later I felt terrible. I was nauseous, and had stomach cramps, severe diarrhea, vomiting. From now on, "No banana splits."

I would say you are probably allergic to bananas. I'm not sure what's in them though that makes people sick.

Quick story... my mom has a boxer dog, and this thing will eat everything, with no problem. One day my mom gave him a piece of banana and he got so sick, threw up, had diarrhea, the whole works. The vet told my mom that he was allergic to banans, and not to worry because a lot of people and animals are allergic to something in bananas.

I'd say try and avoid them as best you can! We don't want you too feel yucky!
