people think just cuz im Irish that Guinness is gonna be my beer of choice...why. I do like it but just because I have irish blood doesnt make me that narrow minded on brands of beer it just makes my love of beer stronger.lol Why is this?

Ello everybody. My boyfriend is beginning to get more into his asian culture and wants a wok for his birthday.
ANyway, I’ve been looking around and haven’t made a decision yet as to what is a good long lasting Wok that is big but also a big bargain. I'll will continue to look around but could possibly some of you cool chiefs out there give me some good pointers as to what’s the best wok to use. Any information is good information... unless you’re here to hate. If that’s the case dont expect me to respond to your immaturity.

I have friends coming over tonight (regular thing) for coffee and I usually do a dip and chips or some cookies. Anyone have any new ideas??? Adult and kid friendly. I have to race home from work and prepare it in between dinner and before they come... so something quick.

Ive only ever really drunk smirnoff, pulse and cruizers, what should i try next? Possibly still along the lines of vodka because i dont like beer, rum etc

Well, I've been wanting to be a vegetarian for a while, simply because I don't like to eat a lot of calories, but everyone I ask says it's not good for me. What does it mean anyway? That you strictly only eat vegetables, or that you strictly don't eat any meat?

Starbucks Corp. on Tuesday said it is aiming to make the milk and other dairy products it serves in its U.S. coffee houses free of a controversial artificial growth hormone used in dairies to increase milk production.

The move comes after Starbucks was targeted in a campaign by consumer groups critical of the use of an artificial hormone known as rBGH, which is given as a supplement to dairy cows to increase milk production.

The dairy products involved include fluid milk, half-and-half, whipping cream and eggnog.

There is no similar move for overseas locations because the supplement is not allowed in most other nations.

Are you happy with this change or not bothered? I reckon it's about time!

I want to serve my guests with hot plates (keeping the main dish on the plates in the oven so food doesn't cool) how do I know if my plates can resist the heat? I don't think the oven would be on any higher than 150 or whatever necessary to keep the food warm while the soup/salad is served....
