A lot of the recipes my husband and I have been making called for different types of cheese. Well now I have a LOT of cheese in my fridge. Swiss, Motz, Parm, Cheddar. I have a lot of recipes (including a chicken spaghetti that I'm eager to make) that all call for velvetta cheese. Now I'm sure thats really b/c its softer and easier to melt over noodles when sliced. But is there anyway I can use some of the cheese I already have in recipes that call for Velvetta? How do you half-melt it to make it mix right?

It's a drink. you don't need to suffocate and then dissect animals to sell a drink. Can anyone find any shred of logic behind this?

Does anyone have a great cookie recipe that does NOT include butter, margarine, or shortening? I am having trouble finding a recipe on the internet. I want to bake some cookies, but I do not have any butter or anything similar. All the recipes I can find so far include rolled oats and/or coconut, which I do not have. I do have peanut butter, brown sugar, white sugar, flour, eggs, mollasses, vanilla extract, baking soda and powder. If anyone has any ideas that would be awesome!

I love those spicy Korean noodles. If anyone can also name another spicy Asian noodle brand, I would love to buy them. All I need to know is where to get them in America.

I bought a food processor and it's time to make it work for its money. I want to start with a good salsa -- something for dipping. What would be a good recipe?

I live in Dublin, Ireland and while shopping at Tesco I was surprised to see that there were no peppers in the veggie section. I asked why and the fella said there was some sort of problem getting them from Spain. Can anyone tell me why?

My last attempt I used 6 hard boiled eggs (3 whole eggs and 3 egg whites), 1/4 cup light miracle whip, 1 tbsp mustard, 1/2 stalk celery finely chopped, and salt and pepper. It is so watery today (again!) and it taste like I mixed water with the eggs instead of light miracle whip.
I really would like my homemade egg salad to taste like the kind you would get in a restuarant or a deli but a lighter version of that. Gotta watch those calories and fat grams!! Any recipe ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

My girlfriend and I have been getting tired or eating meat and not knowing what's in it. We actually stopped before hand but made it a new years resolution for us both to quit eating meat. Since then, we've been doing very well. Except we both are eating HUGE amounts of salad. Is this a normal compensation or do we have a problem here?

Remoulade

2 cups mayonnaise
2 tablespoons catsup
2 tablespoons mustard (cajun or deli style)
1 tablespoon parsley (chopped fresh)
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper (1 tsp for mild)
1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
2 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon celery salt
1 teaspoon paprika

Mix all ingredients well in a mixer.
If you're not sure how spicy you want it, save the cayenne pepper for last and add a little at a time.
Refrigerate overnight.
I usually buy a 16oz jar of mayo, use the whole jar for the sauce, then pour it back into the jar.
