Anyone can roast beef

This question appeared a few weeks ago and my answer earned 10 points. I will vary my answer this time. Apart from the obvious, one is meat the other veg, I will say one is soft, the other mushy, and beef is brown, peas are green,and finally soup is a starter, beef is the main course.
