I live in Dublin, Ireland and while shopping at Tesco I was surprised to see that there were no peppers in the veggie section. I asked why and the fella said there was some sort of problem getting them from Spain. Can anyone tell me why?

It's something to do with high levels of a certain pesticide being found in a lot of the pepper crops. I heard about this about 1 or 2 weeks ago so it's pretty recent

importing food and the demand on pepers, here in the states we have too much pepers, here's a grand idea for you, grow some peppers for your self in ireland, i know you don't think they'll grow but they do! Get a herb growing kit there better for you as well and you can have the year round too! look for some herb garden kits or some with jiffy puff soil or jiffy-pots.

Best herbs and peppers ever!
