ANd what should I do to fix it? I tried adding more flour cuz when i got done the batter seemed to be runny and so after I did that twice i tried adding more baking soda but they are still so soft there bread like. I used the recipe on the back of the nestille tolhouse choc. chip bag and I followed it exactally. The only reason i can think of is that i used country crock margarine, would that create a prob. I pretty sure i have used it before and they came out just fine.

My little brother doesn't have time to eat a proper breakfast in the morning so instead he is having a packet of crisps on the way to work (he is 20).

I am wanting to make some healthy flapjacks or granola bars for him to take with him instead.

I am looking for something which contains fruit and seeds but not nuts becasue he doesn't like nuts. Or at least a recipe which can be adapted.

I am not keen on the breakfast bars in the supermarkets as they tend to have a low vitamin and mineral content and a high sugar and fat content.

Any thoughts or ideas welcomed.

Basically, Ive just made a nice coffee cake with butter icing and i went a bit over board putting in some baileys which has watered it down a tad. What can I put in to make it thicker? I know there is an ingrediant like baking powder or flour or something, but can't remember what! Thanks!! xxx

Google doesn't know anything about these cookies unless they're made using a box of cake mix or if I want to pay some company for the cookies rather than a recipe. Hoever, I'm looking to make them from scratch. Is anyone willing to share a recipe, help concoct one, or tell me how to do it myself? I'm a bit of a novice when it comes ot baking, I can follow recipes fine but I have no idea how to create my own.

I was just sitting here eating a bowl of chocolate pudding. And I thought, boy I love pudding skins, and what a great question to ask on Yahoo! questions!

Who else likes pudding skins?

I received cans of unsweetened applesauce, but there's no info on the can where it can be used. Can you give me recipes where unsweetened applesauce can be used and how to prepare a recipe calling for an ingredient like unsweetned applesauce?

Hi. I know this may sound like kind of a stupid question, but I am new to the whole cooking scene. I was told by someone that summer squash is the same thing as what looks like a yellow zucchini. Is this accurate? I would greatly appreciate any educated answer. : ) Thanks for your time!!

Does anybody know where I can buy a home soda fountain, hopefully with just one spout and where I can buy syrup such as Pepsi and Mt Dew for it? No luck on Google and I thought the small biz owners could help.

I have $50 - $70 (on a good paycheck) to budget for groceries. My fiance & I are s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d financially, & I would love some suggestions on cheap but tasty meals that are filling, and preferrably can stretch out enough for us to take to work the next day for lunch.
I do most of my shopping at Aldis, and hit the sales at Krogers, and check the weekly ads. I've learned that brand-name coupons still force you (most of the time) to pay more money than you would if you just bought generic. So I'm cued in to those tips. But I'm not that creative on how to come up with tasty meals that go far. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm raised in an italian household, and my parents are big on cooking. I know how to pronounce everything, but I'm not great on spelling it. But, the sauce, in my head is known as [ah-ee-OOL-ee]. What's the correct spelling? And what's it mean?
