it varies a lot from person to person. after 2 shots of vodka i get fun and silly drunk... after 3-4 i get kinda crazy... more than 4 [or sometimes 3], i am more or less naked, making out with everyone in sight, falling over, etc. i am 5'3 & 145 pounds. you are waaaay smaller than me, so you would think it would take you less than me... but i know girls 1/2 my size who drink like freaking rock stars... buuuut then again, 9 times out of 10 when i drink [especially when shots of vodka are involved], i am drinking to get drunk... i just haven't yet mastered the skill of knowing when it's time to stop...

Vodka.. Umm lets see.. 80 Proof 40 % alcohol ..Bout 3-4 Max.. maybe even 2 if yer new to it.... at that weight... but yer not gonna feel it right away it sneaks up on you.. (But thats OK you'll fall down when you hit it.. just dont do more than that initially and wait for the effect if yer a newbie at it.. 2 OZ shots right?)
But after yer done make sure and come back an tell us all about how you dont rember what the hell happened last night LOL
I can drink a 1.75 liter in a day but i'm practiced at it and have a tolerance.. But I dont recommed it to you at all.. thats getting close to toxic & deth levels.. certainly would put a newbie in the Hospital fer sure...
Sheesh why would you even wanna know this? Take it from some one that knows.. its NOT WORTH IT... take up smoking pot.. less dangerous... less toxic...
Some one said 10 over the course of 2 hrs is well .. an idiot.. best stats say is one ounce per hour of alcohol .. sheesh.. (Not cool dude..whoever you were.. but yer way off..) general rule is 1 OZ per hr that yer liver and other organs will be able to process.. 10 in 2 hrs?? just well STUPID...

it takes me ( a confirmed vodka martini drinker) about 5 (4 oz.) martini's to get pretty buzzed. I'm a seasoned drinker 5'11" tall and weigh 200 lbs.
However, there are variables.. I've done extensive U.S. traveling and I've discovered that it takes more or sometimes less to get me "drunk", depending upon where I am at a particular time. For example, in Colorado, I got ****** on 3 drinks. In Boston, I can easily have 5 or 6. Oxygen levels in blood, combined with other factors, such as what you have (or haven't) eaten, your state of mind, whether or not you smoke cigarettes, etc., etc., ad nauseum.. all contribute to your state of inebriation.
You, as 5'6", 120 lb. female, should consider drinking something other than shots of vodka. Unless, of course, your sole aim is to get dRunK....In which case, if I were you, I'd be extremely careful of what company I kept during that particular session.
Personally, I'd recommend some fairly tame vodka-based drinks for you.... sex-on-the-beach, madris, screwdriver... etc. If you want a bit more of a buzz, but would prefer to maintain, then have a simple cosmo or two.... enjoy, but please be careful.

There are too many variables in this question to properly answer it. Some people have higher tolerances to alcohol than others, thus resulting different speeds at which their body processes the intake of alcohol. Legally, a person may be intoxicated (have a BAC of .08), but may not feel drunk until they have a .18 BAC. There are also different proofs of vodka that haven't been addressed...is it 80 proof or 100 proof? Additionally, in what length of time would the drinking take place?

If you're not used to drinking, and have an empty stomach, 1-2 shots would be plenty to get your head spinning.
If you're in the mood to vomit, drink 5 in less than an hour.

10 over the course of say two hours will do the trick. Even if you have a low tolerance you probably won't vomit but if you have a high tolerance you will still probably be quite drunk.

Can't answer that. Even with the measurements some little fellows can hold more than a larger person.
