everytime i buy a miso packet it tastes gross. why is something that cost less than $2 in a japanese restaurant so hard to find elsewhere?

i've seen some korean eating it on youtube. its a dish serve at korea, it raw octopus. the chef just cuts it up into pieces and puts it in the plate...and the darn thing still moves. does anyone know if its safe to eat it? if so is there a restaurant in nyc that serves it? and how do they taste like?

so im tryin to show a guy just how much we care about him so hes the deal. I suggested to his sister in law that we throw him a party on saturday just something small, about 5 or 6 people. nothing big. hes turning 27 but the problem i dont know of any good ideas to use as a theme, i dont know what to bring (food wise and drink wise) i always wanted to make rum punch but i dont know any good receipes. any ideas please. I told my boyfriend that I would help feed his club this spring at an outing. We planned to do baked potatoes, steaks, corn and salad. What is the most cost effective way to do the meat? Buy a whole slab of rib-eyes and have them cut or cook it like a rib roast whole and then cut it. I want cost effective and time saving. We're not going to be able to stand over a grill all day because other things that we have to do. Thanks for all suggestions.

Ok so iI been trying to eat healthier.....but im unsure what to drink for breakfast....I like to have a bowl of oatmeal in the morning before I go to college (around 7am I eat) then I have class at 8am.

I usually just have the oatmeal and a bottle of water,then for I have an apple as a snack inbetween classes around 9:30am, then a fruit salad for lunch around 12:30pm, but I kinda want something to give me more of a kick in the morning...is coffee alright?? or should I try and drink a glass of orange juice....


any ideas??



i tried the whole green tea thing...didnt work for me...
