Probably not. Comedian Mitch Hedberg didn't think so either...he's got a whole bit on it, check it out.

The clerk defined that if I log onto the DD internet website with each and each receipt i might want to get a loose donut. Being previous adequate to save in recommendations a time even as the cliche` "funds to donuts" quite made experience it doesn't quite seem properly truthfully worth the difficulty.

You be quick to answer no and to tell you the truth if im not given the receipt i wouldnt ask for it. BUT, and theres always a but, if that donut you're about to bite into is spoiled, has worms, fungus, parasites or any other stuff you wouldn like eating....then that piece of paper would be helpfull in your direct claim or in a law suit. I know the chances of suing for a donut are slim and might look stupid, but hey, if it happened to you?

It's a well known fact that donut shops often give free donuts to police officers, so a receipt removes any suspicion of impropriety.

LOL---That's funny. Never thought of that. Just eat it really quickly and ask if he has proof you had a donut in the first place!
