I'm looking for a great cooking magazine. the recipes can't be too hard because i'm not a great intermediate cook, but i want the recipes to be tasty. i especially like to make desserts but it doesn't have to be a sweets magazine, i'm just saying in case you know one. thanks

I have just put a marinade on the staek tip...but my BBQ won't light. I was going to put it in the oven but I am not sure what temp to set it at or how long to keep it in. It is abour 2 1/2 pounds.Any suggestions?

For Christmas vacation, I'll be visiting Palm Springs, Calf. For Christmas Eve, my family and I will be having dinner at the resturant shown in title. back in the late 80's early 90's my mum made a tuna rice filler from a issue of family circle (she thinks) it was a hit with all of us kids however mum cant remember the recipe. I think that it had egg, tuna and rice in it but would love to know what eles.

I am hosting a large New Year's Eve party which is being held in a typical ballroom. The ceiling won't allow for a balloon drop and housekeeping won't allow for a confetti throw ( cannon)! Any one else have a creative way to end the evening or to do a countdown?

I don't mean the rye breads you can get in Tesco or Waitrose but actual pumpernickel. I remember having a sort that can in flat round discs with an intense sharp flavour and anothe sort that was more like regular bread with a golden brown crust. Any ideas where I could buy these?

I have some tofu for a few weeks but I am not sure how long. It has been in an airtight container with water that I have changed a few times and is not sour, has no brown spots and just looks the same as when I bought it. Can I still eat it ? Will cooking kill any bad bacteria that may have formed if it is too old ?
