do grocery stores sell wine??

I think it might depend on the state but I believe that most grocery stores do sell wine.

It depends on where you live. In Italy and Spain every grocery store sells wine (sometimes alcoholic drinks can take up almost half the shelf space in a small store!), but I've never seen it in Western Canada. It's not sold in grocery stores in Sweden.

In the state I live in only the real high end grocery stores do. The one I shop at does not. Also depends on the state laws. In some states its not legal.

Some states do not allow wine, beer or liquor to be sold in grocery stores. I've lived in both GA and NJ. In GA, you can buy wine in grocery stores but you can't in NJ. Try a package store.

where i live in fredricksburg virginia all of the grocery stores sell wine even some convinent stores sell wine

Yes. At least Winn Dixie,Albertsons,Publix and Walmart Supercenter do! Sometime,tho the liqour dept has a seperate enterance next to the main store.

there are strange laws in some counties, in Gatlinburg TN, the liquor store was not allowed to sell beer, and we had to go across the street to the grocery store

Yes they do but I suggest going to a liquor store. You'll get better prices and selection.

Another idea is try your local vineyards. Sometimes the local vineyards have delicious wines at very reasonable prices.

Yes, places likt Acme, Albertsons, Topps, and Giant Eagle all sell wine and at a decent price too.
