What is wrong with the food being sold there why is it so much cheaper then the regular store?

Sometimes there's something wrong with the packaging, but mostly it's a way for them to move excess product without declaring it a total loss. I used to go to one all the time and there was never anything wrong with the food.

They are usually 1 or 2 days past the expiration or Sell by date. I used to shop at one of these outlets and always liked what I bought.

I never had any problems with the cakes from there.

Generally, the outlet store sells cakes that didn't sell in other stores, so they are a few days old. They are usually still fresh and good, but they don't charge as much.
