I am interested in becoming a veg for spiritual purposes, but meat is a moderate staple and source of protien and fat. Any time I've tried cold-turkey (no pun intended) to stop eating meat, I've gotten very hungry and craved protein, even though I don't eat a whole lot of meat. Anyone have a suggestion?

I was shocked to read this web site...wow!!!

Johnson & Johnson claims that "Splenda is made from sugar, so it tastes like sugar". Johnson & Johnson wants consumers to think that it is natural sugar without calories. The truth is that Splenda is not natural and does not taste like sugar. The sweetness of Splenda derives from a chlorocarbon chemical that contains three atoms of chlorine in every one of its molecules. The manufacturer of this chlorinated compound named it sucralose. The improper use of “ose” in the name creates the illusion that sucralose is natural like sucrose which is the precise name for table sugar. Johnson & Johnson wants consumers to believe that the taste of Splenda is due solely to natural sugar, that is, due to sucrose. However, the manufacturer has patented several chemical processes for making the chlorinated chemical compound it calls sucralose.

Take cheesecloth, soak it in at least a pound of butter, fold it 3 levels thick, cover salted or spiced turkey with cloth. Baste and cook as usual, keeping cheesecloth moist with butter. Cook until done, cheesecloth may very well be black. That's okay....turkey underneath is brown and juicy.

I am starting to drink green tea for the health benefits, but was wondering what is the best "version" of green tea. I want the most pure method, not the commercialized watered down version. So is it best to brew it with tea bags? Or is stuff like Arizona green tea just as good as other options?

Why aren't the White Cheddar Cheetos available in stores? I only saw them at Walgreen's, but they don't carry them anymore. I thought they were pretty popular.

I have a 8.5 lb spiral cut ham that I want to have for a special dinner tonight at 5:30 pm. I have to leave the house from 12:00 noon to 4:30 ish. Is it possible to to put this fully cooked ham in the oven on 200* at noon to just have it warm or will it get dried out? Should I just put it in for 45 minutes?

Please help me what do you suggest? I don't wnat a dry ham or a burnt down house or a disease infested ham either.
