Yes. Szechuan province is in western China. Not just spicy, but hot! And delicious. Much more zing than Cantonese dishes.

Hunan and Szechuan dishes are supposed to be the spiciest of Chinese food regions. However, in most American take out places, it's more sweet than spicy unless you tell them to make it hot.
