Hello! I never learned to cook when I was growing up. Now, I live in an apartment with a roommate and it's not fair to expect him to cook all the time. Can anyone give me some good recipes? We are on a budget and won't eat anything vegitarian. Thank you!

Okay. does anybody actually have a good butter pecan recipe that they have actually made a few times? I am looking for a recipe that has thick, chewy, and delicate cookies that are not flat, and don't spread like wild fire in the oven. I want to actually taste the pecan flavor and do not want it masked with flour. Will a basic chocolate chip recipe work, with replacing chips for pecans?

Please Help

My 18 year old future nasa employee decided that her socks were not warm enough so she threw them in the microwave. The socks had metal on them and needless to say caught on fire. The fire shot out the back and bottom of the microwave. My 16 year old decided to put something in the microwave about half an hour later for like 30 seconds or so. His stuff heated up but I am worried that I might have a radiation leak from the bonfire. Additionally the smell is awful. I would prefer to buy a new microwave but this was an expensive microwave and an equal replacement would not be cheap. Any suggestions on if it is safe?

I could definitely get down on some Breakfast Nachos. Is there such a thing? Would society allow such a thing? Would I incur the wrath of God?

We have this dinner every year, around halloween for friends. Everything is orange and black (or close!) and this year, I am looking for some new recipes or ideas, so let your creative juices flow. No repeats! We've done the obvious, remember this has been going on for 7 years now. Thanks in advance!!!
