I'm looking for unique ways to use hotdogs in a meal besides mac and dogs and beans and dogs. Any suggestions?

make some really good hot dogs with everything on them. Like bacon, tomatoe, onion, avocado, cheese, and ketchup......
Or make beanies and weenies: Just baked beans with chopped hot dog.
Oh I really like making scrambled eggs with onions, tomatoes, and chopped hot dog, and scramble them with chunky salsa.....

yum :)

Also you could take a croussant roll & roll the hotdog in it & make a modified pig in a blanket serve with mac n' cheese & green beans.

You can:

Slice 1/2 onion and fry it.
Pour 1 small can tomato puree
Add salt and a dash of pepper
Let it fry for a bit and add 1/2 cup water
Cut some dogs thick and add some cooked potatoes cubes.
Let it boil until hot dogs fully cooked.

If you like hot stuff you can add some chipotle to the sauce.

Serve with white rice

My favorite is to boil the dogs, lightly butter the buns, put the dogs on the buns, sprinkle with diced onions and top off with some cheese. Put in the oven until buns and onions begin to turn brown, and the cheese is melted. Rest of meal could be sliced and fried potatos, beans, or Kraut. Whatever goes with dogs. I like to top mine off with Miracle Whip, wife prefers mustard.

Make Pigs in a Blanket. You can wrap the hot dogs up in Pillsbury crescent rolls and bake them. Serve them with mustard for dipping. They're very good, I'm sure you can find the recipe online somewhere.

I personally crave chili dogs both in the summer and winter when its cold outside. All you need is refried beans, black or kidney beans, onion and hamburger or the meat of your choice. Put it in a crockpot or pan and let it simmer, then drop the hot dogs in there. You can use it as chili by itself, too. Good luck!

Place a hotdog on a plate and cover with mashed potatoes then put taco toppings on or pizza toppings or just american cheese. Whatever toppings you desire it really is good and the kids love em!!

Take pilsbury crescent rolls, hot dogs, and block cheddar cheese. Roll a hot dog and a strip of cheddar cheese up in a crescent roll and bake it until the crescent roll is cooked. Dip in ketchup, mustard, honey mustard...whatever you want...they are awesome!
