I'll share one of mine, called "the litter box":

In small tray, stir in several cups of oats, minced almonds, malt powder (malt Ovaltine is good), and/or wheat germ. This will be the "sand".

Roll in a generous amount of Almond Roca candies and/or Tootsie Rolls (preferably the medium-sized, segmented variety. If you've a black cat figurine, put it in the middle of the tray or off to the side. Scoop out the "treats" with a standard cat-tray scooper (unused, natch).

Delightfully gross on the outside, but pretty good if you can put aside what it all looks like. :P

I want to make split pea soup, but the recipie does not mention if I should soak the peas overnight. It calls for dried peas, but I am not sure if it is considered "common knowledge" that you should do this or not. Does anyone know??

I have a cuisinart ice cream maker. Immediately after the ice cream is made it is soft, but after freezing it it becomes hard and gritty. Is it that the machine is inherently deficient or are there ingredients that the commercial makers include?

I am trying to get a jump start on my finace and my wedding registry and am stuck on what to register for, for china. I know that I need the basics but do I really need charger plates and accent plates? What are these and if we don't have them for formal parties are people going to turn up their noses? haha sorry if this question seems rediculous. thanks for any input!

I'm looking for a website where I can search by the ingredients I have? For example, I have chicken, spices, tomoto sauce, etc. and it tells me what I can make with those ingredients.

(If this type of website doesn't exist, someone should start one!)

Thanks for your help.

Have you tried a Quorn Burger..ie one made from veggie soya? They sure are nice. I had a minted lamb flavour one that I fried, with onions, tomato ketchup and grated cheese in a cobb. I swear to you, this burger tasted better than any McDon / Burg King that I ever bought...and it was meat free!!!

Im gonna fry another one tonight. Have you ever tried them??
