i love quorn burgers - add a slice of cheese and it's just as nice as a normal burger.
I layer it: burger, cheese slice, burger, cheese slice on a brown roll - yummy!

try this
peppered quorn steak
• 450g (1lb) butternut squash, peel and cut into bite sized chunks
• 6 small shallots, peeled and halved
• 30ml (2tbsp) olive oil
• 15ml (1tbsp) maple syrup
• 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
• grated zest and juice of ½ a lemon
• 1 clove garlic, crushed
• 1 pack of Quorn Peppered Steaks
• 100g (4oz) virtually fat free fromage frais
• 1 tsp creamed horseradish
• 15ml (1tbsp) fresh parsely chopped
• 50g (2oz) baby spinach leaves
• a little balsamic vinegar to drizzle
A really special recipe to tantalise your taste buds. Delicious Quorn Peppered Steaks served with a hot salad comprising of roasted squash, shallots and baby spinach with a tasty dressing.
Cooking Instructions
1. Pre-heat oven to 220°C/425°F/gas 7. Put the prepared squash and shallots into a roasting tin with 1tbsp of oil and the Maple syrup, stir to coat evenly then roast for 30-35 minutes or until the squash is tender
2. Meanwhile, mix together the thyme, lemon zest, garlic and remaining oil, brush this over the Quorn Steaks and set aside, covered in the refrigerator.
3. Mix together the fromage frais, creamed horseradish, lemon juice and chopped parsley.
4. Forteen minutes before the end of the squash cooking time, cook the Quorn steaks either in the oven or under the grill following the back of pack cooking instructions.
5. To serve, toss the spinach through the squash and onions in the hot roasting pan. The hot vegetables will cause the spinach to wilt slightly.
6. Divide the hot salad onto two plates, slice the Quorn steaks in half and place on top. Drizzle with a little balsamic vinegar, and top with a dollop of the fromage frais and horseradish.

My wife is a vegetarian and has tried all the quorn products, I have sampled several too and found them to be very good . In fact I only use Quorn mince now, it is much nicer than even the leanest minced beef.
Incidentally there is no soya used at all,it is all a microscopic cousin of the mushroom.

well, when you compare your burger to anything from maccy d's/b.king your on a winner, arent you? quorn burgers need the disguise of the other ingredients you mention to make your food taste of something. i think you could taste mint which has apparently gone well with your other ingredients. if that was your healthy option that you fried why didn't you just leave it out and have an even more healthy snack, after all you fried it with onions so don't be giving yourself too big a pat on the back!

Oh cool, welcome to the veggie hidden secret !
Yep, they are good. Better than the other Quorn ones - those "Southern Style" ones are a bit like cardboard.
Also, why not try thier Apple Sausages.
