We get the Diet Coke so we Can supersize.
2 cups of reg Coke would be another 350 calories.
Sorry, I ruined your day. Next time I'll order a chocolate shake.

Well, 'cus they know the artificial sweeteners actually make you gain weight, so why stop with the fattening diet coke? Why not add some greasy pre-plastic fried meat and a bleach traces packed white flour bun to go with it? Why not have some skin cancer with your clogged pancreas and your yeast infested intestines? It's more fun to pay for your own death this way! It's loads of fun to have diabetes and cancer! Loads! And anyway, McDonald's must feel guilty, cus they've established the ronald mcdonald house for all their patients. What great guys!

B/c they like the taste of Diet Coke and/or b/c they want to save the calories they would spend on the drink for the burger?

Maybe they're diabetic. They probably shouldn't eat a McDonald's if that's the case, but I know my grandpa would take me as a treat when I was a kid and get a diet coke with his meal because he is diabetic (Type I).

You cut out hundreds of calories so you can eat that Big Mac in the first place. Kind of like when people get light Frappuccinos at Starbucks with extra whipped cream and syrup and caramel everywhere.

Because they want to feel less guilty eating all that fattening food. They really think that drinking diet Coke will really make a difference.

For many reasons, for example, I can't stand the taste of regular coke, or pepsi for that matter, think it tastes like syrup, but I like the diet variety. Or my mom is diabetic and can't drink regular soft drinks, but since diet drinks nowadays are made with splenda, it doesn't send her blood-sugar through the roof.
