Rumor has it that after Mt. Dew is sold out of stores that there will be no more. While I highly doubt it I thought that I would see if anyone else had heard it.

I'm not vegan. But I am vegeterian. Being a vegeterian does limit my options to dine out. However, I love to dine out. I often come to my non-veg relatives in West Hempstead, NY, in the Nassau County of Long Island. However, when I really can't enjoy food at home with them, I like to be able to dine out with 'multi veg. options' on the menu available. But....all I see is lots of menus for 'non-veg'. And about only an eggplant parmigiana or pasta. Honestly.... I'm sick and tired of eating the same thing everytime I dine. I love spicy food (and other types.) But nothing boring or tooooo fattening... I'm willing to go international..(except I don't adapt well with the chinese menus). I don't eat Fish, Egg, or non-veg. So guys.... ladies..... the knowledgeables: Please help me in this. Do you know of any good diners with more vege. options on their menu in the Nassau County (Long Island, NY)?

I sometimes make stovies i.e Cut potatoes, Turnip, Onion, Carrots, Link Sausages with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste. Put in a large pot and bring to boil then simmer for 30 mins.

I would like recipes which are easy like this one. Thanks to all who reply.

I live in Scotland and I'm willing to try something from abroad.

I bought the canned sauce for pasta, scrambled some beef with butter and onion, poured the pasta in, heat it till it bubbles a little.

Then I boiled the spaghetti and poured the souce on it.

But it tastes bland....or not as good as the ones I had in Italian restuarant. I thought the sauce is already seasoned. What can I do to improve the taste?

Thank you!!
