Rumor has it that after Mt. Dew is sold out of stores that there will be no more. While I highly doubt it I thought that I would see if anyone else had heard it.

no i havent heard this one, but you gotta remember that you cannot believe everything you hear. Its probally not true, alot of people buy mt. dew they make too much money to quit making it.

No but I heard something like they (Pepsi) wanted to focus more on high energy drinks and sport energy drinks b/c sales for pop had declined. I didn't think they'd stop Mt. Dew though

I would highly doubt it, but I did hear on a news cast in Minneapolis, MN that they were no longer going to fill the vending machines in highschools with it anymore because of the dental issues that kids have from drinking so much of it. Maybe you heard a spin-off from that.

However, I wouldnt mind not seeing it anymore...it gives you a toothache just thinking about drinking it!!

I have not heard that but, now that you say that, i just went to a store near me and all they had was the 20 ounce bottles. They didn't have any 12's or 24's. I don't think they will quit making it cause they sell alot of it. It's one of their big money makers. I will die without it.

I doubt that it has been around a long time I worked in a small groc. store when they first brought it out on the market& helped give out samples I probably helped them get hooked on the caffiene.

That's a strange concept!!

I'll have to look when I'm at my local store tonight.

Why would they do that? They're making so much money off of it!
