My finace and I are going on vacation to get married. Both sets of parents would like to have a reception, but we don't care to have one. Our wedding is in February, are there any other options to get everyone together, other than having a reception?

I am scared to death! I hate being in the spotlight, and just the thought of having a hundred plus pairs of eyes on me all at the same time makes physically ill. Any advice?

am going to marry my indian boyfriend soon, everything was great untill he told me that his ex-wife asked him to return. I love him so much but am afraid if he will accept his ex-wife again for his kid's reason. He had 2 daughters from her and his ex-wife left him with another guy. She lives in NZ now while my boyfriend lives in UAE. after 4 years my bf finally get contact with their daughters and he is very shocked knowing that his daughter's life is unhappy . I know about his feeling abt this, for me, there will be no problem if the kids want to live near the father as long as his ex-wife not ruin our life. Please tell me what to do ...

My fiances family has alot of children in it, at least 20 (Under 8) and everyone is pregnant again, I do love them, but my mom is paying for a very formal reception, I don't want kids crying and running around i find it very annoying but i know thats what they do, but do you think if i exclude kids under 12 that most of the people won't come. Or do you think they will find a babysitter

A daughter of a family friend is getting married at the end of the month and I discovered that she has registered at 7 different places for everything from a dust pan to a power saw.
Should I go off their registry requests or be different and get them something original?

I just wanted to know the statistics - someone told me that most marriages (70% plus) fail within a year and the rest fail in about 5 years and only 10 % marriage stay "OK" - but even in that most guys are very unhappy.

I am getting married next month and still have not booked the honeymoon yet because we can't decide where to go. My dream would be to go to Bora Bora but realistically we can't afford that. I was thinking either Greece, Italy, or Fiji. Does anyone have any recommendations about where to go for Italy and Greece? Or any other recommendations? Thanks

I'm having an outdoor summer wedding, and for the party favors, I'm getting tiny gift boxes to fill with candy. I don't think chocolate will work, because it will melt. Any other ideas for treats to fill them with?

I am a small girl and I stay about the same weight and i have 2 years till my wedding but I have found the perfect dress, adn I fear it will get discontinued. So I am impatiently waiting for that one year mark. I am almost 21 and my weight fluctuates between 103 and 125. Mind you im short too, so many alterations will need to be done.

But i dont want to buy a dress that wont fit for my wedding. Also I need to be sure it will fit when I get it in.

We want to invite 150 people for our wedding, but it looks like we are going to go over...and we have a budget that we want to keep. Would it be rude if I invite people to come to our ceremony but not the reception? OR since our reception venue allows us to stay as late as we want, so would it be ok to invite other friends to come after dinner for the dancing and music? I am so torned!!

I am looking for about 200 small white boxes to place a black ribbon and sticker on to hold Hershey kisses. We are wanting to place a few kisses in a box and label the box with a tag reading "Kisses from the Mr. And Mrs.'" Any idea where I can get cute boxes? Links to specific ones would be great! Thanks for your help. :)

...unless an individual does something totally awesome. Then maybe that person will get a tip, for extraordinary service.

they are charging me $23-$25 per hour per server and also slapped on an 18% service charge. so there's no way that i am dishing out another $20 per server.

i busted my *** waitressing in college for 3 years and averaged about $12 per hour. which is a lot better than a lot of people make. so i figure even if these servers don't get all of that money, they are still going to make way more than that.

does anyone agree with me?

Hello yahoo answer family. My fiance and I are going to include his children in our wedding. They will be included in the wedding invitation, unity candle ceremony and there will be a part where my fiance and I will say vows to the kids and they will get a special ring and they will be going on the honeymoon with us to Walt Disney World....So the problem comes, I need to find a wedding cake topper with the couple and three kids. We are getting married August 10, 2008, Serious answers only. We thought about how we want the ceremony and we feel we both want the kids to feel included and know that the wedding is about all of us united in a family.
Thank you in advanced.
