Ok, so, there's this guy that I like- he's a junior and on the varsity basketball team. I'm a freshman, but look a bit older for my age. He seems cool, but I have no classes with him and only sometimes see him on campus. How can I get to know him, and would it be dumb to expect anything knowing that he's two years older than me?

you text them "hey hows it going, you busy" then when they reply "its been going good, no", you call them and start talking

another version would be texting them..." hey you wanna talk" and if they reply "sure", then you call them instead of texting them....but usually i alway want to make sure they arent busy with anything by texting then calling....does that make it too clingy....is there another way...

My ex thinks that i cheated on her. Me and her were going out and we didn't realy talk like every time i would go by her she would stare down at her homework. So then when i was at chorus someone said she broke up with me so i thought we were through because he told me that and he was one of my close friends so i was really sad. And i was going on the bus home thinking "So now im single" and the girl next to me was a really close friend and i just started talking and then i put my arm around her (nothing else happend) and then i thought me and my other girlfriend were done so i asked her out over the weekend and then my ex-girlfriend said "I didnt want to break up with you" and i didnt like her anymore then she got angry at my current girlfriend and is now being a ***** to her and me and now shes sayin fake things that we said on Instant messenger and typing them. We have a trip tomorow and i dont want to have to have my ex in my way of me and my current gf what should i do?

I like a guy, and its my friends old crush. Then right when i was about to tell her i liked him, she said she wasnt over him. and my other friend is trying to get me to ask him out for her coz she likes him to , but she doesnt know i like him. And then we are doing dancing at school and he asks me to be his partner and i said yes. Then he asked me out but im no sure if he was kidding so i said no. I want to ask him out but i dont want my friends to get hurt. One of my friends knows and shes mad but shes still my friend coz she knows that he wont go out with her. What should i do? My friend never actually went out with him because he said no because she was to shy and he didnt like her anyway.

I am almost 30 and have not yet officially started to date. I have gone on a total of two dates in my entire life. They took place when I was 23 and at the time I felt it was way too early to get into that stuff. What is weird now is that I have become so involved in my career and working on a masters degree that I totally forgot about the "finding love" aspect of life. Seriously, I had an awakening of a sort and said to myself, "Oh yeah, I forgot about maybe someday getting a girlfriend and experiencing my first kiss." I have been told it will be difficult to get into the game so late and even harder because I still live at home by choice. LOL, should I even bother to seek a relationship or should I just pursue more important things like a career etc.?

There is this girl who I went to high school with. I have wanted to be with her since the first time I saw her. Now that we have graduated, she keeps coming over to my house every other week.
Last time I asked her out, she said that she was with someone. She is still with this person but I feel that her coming over to my house and spending so much time with me, is her way of telling me that she wants me to ask her again.
I know that she has had problems with her current boyfriend in the past but at this point I am not sure how to proceed. I want her to like me but I don't know if she wants me or if she just wants to keep in touch.

Someone help me figure this out.

5 months ago i fell in love with a girl who had a boyfriend and i couldnt have her, i cried over her every night and still do, i still love this girl and it hurts me so much, how long will it take me to fully get over her and for me to stop crying, everytime i see her or her myspace picture it makes my heart melt. what can i do to get over her faster n how long will it take?

I emailed my ex bf and he still hasn't replied, it has been almost 2 weeks now, and no, he is not busy, he has been adding mutual friends of ours on facebook, so I know he has been on the net.

PS: We have both not requested each other on facebook.
I broke it off with him, then asked him if he wanted to try again a week after breaking up to which he said no.

Additional Details
I am over him. I just want to keep him as a friend, he is facing some tough times, and I am genuinely worried, not in a romantic sense, I have moved on, but still care for him, and have known him a long time.

okay, to start with me and lets call him jake anyways i found out last year that jake liked me then when i started talking to him he asked me out although i had to say no even though i liked him alot. he happens to be one of my friends brothers one night when i spent the night he came in after his sis fell asleep and was like i like you so much would you believe me if i kissed you but i just couldn't later he just wouldnt talk but thne a few weeks ago we hung out and played bball when he asked me to come with him to his house for a movie i told him i had to get home laster that day he blocked me on myspace then maybe last week i saw him (didnt talk) but he was smiling when his mom was talking to me then the next day he was adding me back on myspace now, i asked him just if he wanted to hang out or sumthing and he wont answer what is up with this boy? do you think he still likes me or did i screw it up?

Although men tell me I'm pretty ...they complain about the way I dress ...not sexy enough I guess...

I don't feel like getting dressed up .I dress very plain - jeans and a shirt most of the time.

And I think they take it as - She doesn't want to dress up for me and lose interest

Is the way a girl dresses THAT important ? I'm just not into fashion.

One of my gifts for my boyfriend this year, is a pillow I'm making in sewing class, very girly with lace trim, purple bows, the cutest turtle fabric, after his favorite animal, and our names embroidered on it. I thought it would be funny to embarrass him when he opens it in front of his family.

My question is, what would you think if your girlfriend did that to you? Would you freak out, and not sleep with it to avoid looking feminine. Or, would you cuddle it to your chest every night because it was the gift of the love of your life?

I personally think my man will like it. ;)

Ok this guy and i have been talking for about a month and we both have openley admitted that we have feelings for eachother. We were great on friday ( the last time i saw him) and now he wouldnt even look or talk to me today. I don't mind or anything I am not jealous. The thing is that I feel embarress for her because one of her boobs are bigger then the other and its really noticable..... i don't think she realizes that.. however i don't want to tell her that. not sure what i should do.
