My friend just went through a rough breakup from a relationship of 5 years, plus they have a 3 year old child. He is a great father, friend and person.

Lately he has been going down to a strip joint and "hanging out" with a certain 19 yr old stripper who goes by the stage name of "Long-limbs-Lenora". I tell him she is just after his money and will say anything to keep him coming back, but my friend doesnt see it that way. He thinks she actually likes him and wants to bump uglies or sometin. She gives him lines like "Yea, im broke and stuck in a bad situation", asked him for his number, etc. My friend keeps going back and getting lap dances from her (3 nights in a row once) and he's hooked.

I dont want to burst his bubble, but I want to be a good friend. What should I do?

she says she loves me. we have lots of history over the past 2.5 years. her friends dont approve neither her family. she says it will take time to earn trust. when shes sure ill be true to her then shell tell her friends and family about me again. when things go bad and i suggest just calling it quits she wont let me. does she ever intend on a full commitment? I am ready and she knows this.

My guy friend means alot to me. When we were in 8th grade I had depression when I went on accutane. I was also suicidal and wanted to kill myself for no reason at all. He found out about a poem I wrote about the way I felt and he turned it in to out principal so he could stop me from killing myself. I got off the medecine. In ninth grade he asked me out 3 different times saying i mean alot to him. I wanted to go out with him but I knew it wouldnt work because I was really scared. Now im 16 and im starting to have feelings for him. I want to tell him how much he means to me but im scared he wont be my bf becuz I rejected him. What should I do?

the other day my boyfriend was telling me how he ran into his ex who he never talks to anymore and how he thouht to himself "i really don't know how i ever went out with her, i really just do not like her".

so i was over at his apartment (which i don't go to much) and i noticed he has a lot of pictures of her around his room. he has pictures of the two of them together and some of just her. he doesn't even have a single picture of me anywhere. if he never talks to her and doesn't like her, why does he have pictures of her out???
and he asked me to get something out of drawer in his room and i found what looked like a poem about her.
do i have reason to be worried or am i just being ridiculous??

(And if you'd be willing to share one such experience) How many people do you think lie about themselves and their true situations back home, real home, not the one fabricated to fulfill perhaps, an acquaintance with another out in the world.
I would really appreciate any responses. Because there have been times when I have really been confused by way games of deviousness and deceit, are played to the contact, with whom some people correspond.
My attempt is to be straightforward and honest, because without that nothing of worth can be founded upon. Even a casual friendship, if it can not be taken as trustworthy.
And yet I hear of so many horror stories about how people are duped as to this and that, and I suppose, I can only view that as morally criminal.
Just wondering...
Would appreciate your comments, though, people of the Forum.

Ok, so i wanted to try out the spider-man kiss(you know the one when you kiss upside down) Anyways, I wanted to see if anyone liked kissing that way and if I should try it.

Okay I know my best friend she will talk sexual and flirt with any guy. And my boyfriend called Danielle and they were talking. Not sure what, but i know they aren't cheating but supposefully my best friend danielle said she would never but she does anyway!! WTF?? I don't want to be clingy but we are in a really good relationship right now and I want it to stay that way. But if he's gonna call another girl and if danielle is gonna flirt back then my chances of breaking up with him is a huge increase. So what do I do??

Me and this girl went our seperate ways, she wasnt ready for anything too serious and i couldnt wait any longer. I miss her terribly but at the end of the day, she said it will be best if we stay friends because she isnt ready for anything and altho she really likes me she doesnt want to mess me around. Im sorta coming to terms that im not going to be with her, but we hardly speak and im not sure we ever will, i cant drive myself to speak to her because we are no longer more than friends and i cant think of anything to say on the friends basis. Its almost teasing me in the way that we are just friends.
Im not a selfish person, but im struggling to make any effort for us to be friends.
Is it normal to feel like this? the only way i can see her in my life is if we were together, but if i cant be with her then i cant see her in my life at all. im a 19 yr old lad, and it feels like shes missing.

She is 7 years older and said that she is too old for me. She then emails me and says I took her by surprise because she always thought of me as only a friend, but she did say that she may take a chance in future. After a couple days of real awkwardness, I thought she wanted nothing to do with me and was just letting me down easy. Then all of a sudden at the office party she started to flirt with me for the entire night. I walked her back to the office and was about to ask her out again when another coworker interrupted. We haven't really talked about that night since. However, she is being really nice to me now, she bought me chocolates the other day and playing with her hair a lot when she talks to me. Should I ask her out again? She is really shy and I am not sure she has the guts to ask me out? What should I do, I really like this woman and want to be with her. I recently found out that my b/f of 3 years cheated on me for the first 8 mnths of our relationship. He has called me and come to my work to see me, and he tells me how sorry he is and that if he could go back and change things he would. Should I believe him? I've been on this guy's top friend list forever, along with his good friends, and I consider us to be good friends, we've even said that we like each other & that there could be potential for a long term relationship.. Well he knocked off some of the people he had on their for awhile, including me!!?? Should I be mad at this, or is this like blow to me or what? Hi all,
I could never forget my ex-boyfriend and we've stayed friends since we broke up (years ago). We had this little fling last summer but we didn't end up together (since we both were in a relationship). We haven't talked since then, i'm afraid that he's avoiding me :(

I really want to have a second chance with him and I think he wants it too (hopefully :p) But we're both really shy and keeping the feeling to ourselves.

Should I tell him about my feelings? What should I say? I don't want to scare him away,tho, cus we haven't talked for 1 year. He's a Pisces and I'm a Capricorn.

I need help and I need it fast and bad. I'm 16 and in this club where the executives meet every week. There are two boys there and we get on really well. One, X (Yeah, diregarding the fact that it's so Three Days Grace), sits next to me during meetings and teases me alot( like 'accidentally' nudging his leg against mine.Taking my book and refusing to give it back) and his friends usually joke that we're an item and there should be no lovey-dovey during meetings and all.
Second, (bear with me here, please) is W, who usually catches my eye and winks or makes a kissy face thingy at me.
Both usually send me sweet text messages, especially during a bout of illness when I couldn't make it the meetings, checking up on me to see how I was getting along. Question: do they like like me, or are just being friendly.
Third (so I talk a lot. It's a blessing), what's the best way of letting a guy know you aren't interested but still maintain your friendship?

Okay I am 21 and have been with my boyfriend since I was 14. He was 17, now 24.
He always looks out for me and is over-all very concerned with me.
Of course I lost my virginity to him and have never cheated!
He has a bad temper and when he gets mad at me he will call me bad names and say hurtful things to me.. Like "W* hore, Sl*t, B*tch, c*nt, I wish you would die, worthless W* hore, ect." Those things really hurt me because I lost my virginity to him and its disrespectful. he tells me I will never be anything without him and that Im fat and ugly.. (that doesnt bother me as much because I know im not fat or ugly) and I know he doesnt see me as fat and ugly. the other things i dont know though. He has pulled my hair like 2 or 3 times, pushed me a couple of times, has hit me twice. He hasnt hit me in about a year. But he still talks to me bad when he gets mad.
This only happens about once a month, sometimes less. I know he has anger issues. Should i accept his temper? or what?

How did I get this way? I feel so hopelessly addicted to vicodin. I've been using for about one year. I take about 10 5/500 pills a day. No one in my family knows about my addiction, but lately, I've been a mess. My girlfriend constantly asks me, "what's wrong." "You seem so down." And I say, "nothing, I'm fine." I love her so much. We live together and I treat her and her daughter really good. I just shift all the anger on myself. I just want to break down and cry and tell her that I love her and need help. The problem is that I can't afford rehab. I need some kind of outpatient help and my medical insurance doesn't provide good support in the area of chemical dependency. I'm a straight A student in college, I work full-time, and I have many hopes and aspirations. I know that if I can't get through this, I'll ruin my life and lose everything that's precious to me. Every fiber of my being hurts, and I wish that I had never touched the vicodin. Any advice?

I've known this guy for about 5 years now. We dated about 4 years ago and we stopped talking. I recently started dating him again and the other night we were at his friends house and he told me he loves me. The only thing that I'm concerned about is that he was drunk. I didn't know what to say so it was an awkward silence for a minute. Yesterday I was talking to him and I said do you remember what you said to me lastnight? He said yes and he never said anything else after that. I'm not really sure if he means it though. Can someone tell me how I would be able to tell if he's being sincere or not?
