I say, obviously the person didn't want a real relationship anyway, and was looking for a relationship based on sex.
Relationships are friendships at the core. Without that, you don't have anything. I consider my boyfriend my best friend, and healthy relationships usually are that way.

Why is there no point to friendship with her? If you find no point in it, then please save her the trouble and don't be her friend. She probably doesn't need anymore guys like you hanging around solely for interest in sex, which may very well be the reason she denied you in the first place. Let the gal find some good friends.

Why don't you want to be friends? The only point in being friends with a girl is that there might be a possibility of something sexual?
I'd just tell her what a creep you are and let her take it from there.

It's gonna be hard telling her this because you want to be with her but tell her you are too attracted to her to just be friends. Her reaction will tell you if she's into you or not.

i think the girl just says that she wants to be friends with you as a courteous gesture or just being nice after rejecting someone.
perhaps just reply "ok" just to be nice too and you don't have to think of her or give her anymore attention. just be acquaintances.

It depends on if you were friends with her before...
I've had a guy totally end our friendship because he wanted more and I didn't... he said he couldn't bear it anymore...

ahh, be friends with her, now you have one more friend, you can do two things with this, you can be patient with her, or you can move on to one that will kiss and hug you, and be your steady, only now you don't have to have all your friends with you all the time right, unless you are with your steady, then you can be with your steady as much as she likes.

You say, "thanks, I appreciate the offer, but I am not interested." And you don't say it in a nasty or bitter tone.
