It means that you're alike.

Why does everything have to have a deep meaning?

That you gave it such attention makes me think you like her. Or... are you afraid what will happened if you like each other?

I've said the same thing about a male friend. And... he's a really great friend, but I liked him, too. We had a lot in common, but he was a lot more... intense.

He had a girlfriend at the time, who was a close friend as well... So nothing ever happened. We still had a great friendship, still goes on, though he's moved away now.

she means that the two have a lot in common. A lot of girls look for this in a relationship. If you are courious about this question and ask if she wants a relationship, it sounds to me like this has sparked an intrest in your mind. Maybe you should redefine who is crushin.

That she sees a lot of her qualities in you

I had a female friend like this, she even had the same affliction against velvet as me (cannot touch the stuff, it seriously weirds me out).

She was also as unstable as I am, which led to the demise of the relationship

There's no hinting buddy. It's an observation. You guys share personality traits.

It could mean either but I suspect it means she likes you as a friend. It really depends on how she said it.

All that means is you two are very similar, have many things in common.

She's simply making a small comment on how much you have in common. Nothing to stress about.
