Why OMG? What is wrong with that? Loving someone is not wrong and love doesn't see any age or age difference. The only condition is love should be reciprocal. None of you should impose on each other.

You are 17 and she is 14, good time to love but take caution that both of you do not neglect your studies and do not fall into any sort of trouble. I don't know which country you belong to but most countries prohibit sex below the age of 16/17. Check it out.

If she also professes her love for you, then being older it is your responsibility to see that you love her intensely and she enjoys your love but she is not bothered by your obsession for her if any. So keep cool and patience at times.

I wish both of you good love life and best of luck in future.

Be careful. I understand what you're going through. As long as you don't have sex or don't let anyone know you have sex with her then there's nothing anyone can do. If you are truly in love, things will work out. In 4 years you wont have to worry anymore and it'll be worth the wait. Be there for each other and avoid any conflicts. I'm not against it at all. Do everything you can to keep it peaceful between the families and that's the best you can do. Don't get yourself or her into trouble. Keep it low profile if you have to. Trust me, if it's right, it'll happen. These are just trying times right now. I wish you the best of luck..

There's only a three year gap there, I see nothing wrong with it.

However If you feel its so wrong to be in love with someone so young, And its not. Least your not some 24 year old pedo or older, Heck your still a teenage yourself.

If you know this person well enough ask them out I see nothing wrong with it, Long as you keep an safe idea about sex and all that.

Hun my husband is 11 years older than me, and it works. We have been married for 9 years, and we love each other very much. People look at us everyday funny for many many reasons. Some of them are because we have a very large family. We have 6 children, not all of them are ours. But no one cares to know that, they just think we have to many kids. He is Hispanic and I'm white. He's tall I'm very short. So don't worrie about what others will think do what feels right.

Just don't get caught in bed with her or cross state lines on a birthday bike ride. Although at that younger age 3 years will make more of a difference than it would for someone my age (24), it's not enough of one to worry about. Just don't get in a hurry to rush the relationship, she's young so give her time to be young. And for heaven's sake don't get yourself a prison sentence for statutory rape - at least wait till she's legal, or better yet, till you're married (if you make it that far).
Good luck :)

Don't do it dude. Wait a few years so that you are ready. She is young and it may seem like she is old enough to date you, she needs to grow up a bit more to date. Date in a few years because she is young and if you try to date her, you may get into trouble for harassment or something.

What should you do, for real?? RUN! Your way to close to 18, she's way UNDER 18, jail bait! Plus if it was my daughter, oh boy, you'd be in for some serious trouble if you acted upon my child. Your best bet is to ignore her, and find someone your own age. It will save everyone alot of trouble down the road, seriously.

=) if you really like him, go for it. honestly, age means nothing. I am completely smitten, and now dating someone who's 14, and i'm 16. Three years seems like a long time right now, but in a couple of years it won't matter. Age means nothing, GO FOR IT!

If you two are truly in love then you'll both wait until she is of age. But there is nothing wrong with that. My parents have a 7 year age difference.
