if you were hooking up with this girl (however no sex) and every weekend you called her over to hang out (first you hung out, went to parties, then back to your place to hook up) and she decided one time that she'll come over, hang out with you, go to the parties with you, come back to your place with you, but NOT HOOK UP (for the first time ever) and instead of agreeing to go to your room with you, she says 'hmm.. lets just watch tv'.

WHAT WOULD YOU THINK OF HER? would you RESPECT her and want her more and maybe start thinking of her as SOMETHING MORE THAN just a hookup?.. OR, would you think of her as a TEASE and be pissed off and not even want to be friends with the girl anymore?

I am a graduate student teaching an undergraduate college course, and most of my students are, literally, very close to my age. For this reason, I have been taking extra precautions to maintain the utmost professionalism so as to enforce the student/teacher divide. Nonetheless, there is one student (three years younger than me) who has been rather flirtatious with me for much of the semester, and I think he likely has a crush on me (i.e. always shows up early, makes these little comments, puts tons of extra effort into all of his assignments, gives me lots of smiles...etc). Recently, I ran into this student outside of class time--at a Halloween street party when we were both dressed up--and it was very strange...like if we would have just met I probably would have considered dating the guy, but due to the circumstances I could not even think about it. Problem is, I think I am beginning to feel a little attracted to him as well...and I'm not sure what to do about it. Any advice?

I have been with my bf for 2 wonderful months. He's the one that I' looking for all of my life. He's respectful and sincere and Im comfortable around him. I'm in my late 20's and he's in his thirties. I'm middle-eastern and he's European. Im a virgin and he doesnt know that because he's from another culture and he expects me to have sex with him sometime but he told me that he's not in a rush and he would give me time until I feel comfortable. He thinks that if we can't have sex then we just be friends because he doesn't want to decide to live with someone for 30 years not knowing they are compatible in bed or not. Our relationship is serious and he is not a player. But the problem is I am afraid of telling him this fact as I might lose him. I dont want to be a bed-hopper and I want to have sex with one guy. I have saved myself for years and I just dont want to lose my viriginity easily. I want to be REALLY serious before I decide on something like that. Will I lose him if I tell him?

My boyfriend and I have been together for a year and he doesn't have a picture of me anywhere. We recently moved in together and he always tells me how much he loves me and that he is happy. However, he still has a ton of pictures, love letters, pics on his cell and MySpace from his ex-girlfriends and he says he doesn't want to throw them away. I don't want to sound jealous by telling him why he doesn't have a single picture of me anywhere nor has he kept any of the cards I gave him. I have been going out with him much longer than his ex's! Help!!!

I have been dating this guy for a while and something just doesnt add up about him. He's Italian, not saying all Italians are in the Mafia, and he told me that he used to be in the Mafia not too long ago. He claims to have a job but he doesnt ever talk to me about it and there are suspicious things like he doesnt have an office, never goes in to work, always have late business meetings, uses a nickname and only goes to pick up money from "clients" which is always lots of cash. If Im correct if it is a legitimate business people get paid with company checks not cash especially large sums of it. I told him that I couldnt be with him if thats what he did and he got mad and told me that I will never leave him and that I should trust him. Are those good signs or what are good signs of someone who is in the mafia?

I've been friends with this girl who I met at this volunteer org for a while. Recently I think she's coming on to me. She asked me for my # and when we talk about something volunteer related she would ask me personal questions.

I guess it's going well so far. We hung out a few times, but it's usually with the entire volunteer group. She always tries to get me to stay after our volunteer meetings to grab something to eat or asks me to drive her home.

The only thing I'm wondering about is she's like 7-8 yrs older than I am, and she has a stable fancy job, and I'm still 20 y/o in college. Everytime we hang out, she always picks up the tab, even though I offer to pay for us both or at least for my portion. She always says that it's okay b/c she knows I don't make much money at my job.

I just feel like I don't want to be unfair. And I'm not sure how it will go if it stays like this w/ the age and financial thing. Anyone have ideas about dating older girls? What do you think I should do?

So, I went out with this girl a few times and had a great time. I really like her personality (she asked me out), and her sense of style. However, just last week just in a matter of two days everything suddenly changed. I spoke to her midweek and asked her out to this show. Her response was that she would love to go see it. However, when I tried to follow up with her later with timing and her schedule, I got no response. About two days later, I got an e-mail response that she is going through some personal issues and is really busy the next couple of weeks. She said that I should see it. She also said that she will let me know when things get smoother. To a certain extent, i can understand her work schedule as it is very demanding. So, I don't know what to do. Any help and insight would be much appreciated. Thanks!

i have been dating this girl for about a month and she is always kidding around about things...calling me names, and stuff like that. i call her names back because she calls me names...sometimes she crosses the line though saying things like " there are so many guys here if i were single it would be great" and " i should have made my ex my first he has a 9 inch d**k." and then when i tell her i dont like her saying stuff like that to me..she gets all defensive and says i shouldent feel the way i do and that im over- reacting about it...i dont get it!!!! , its not even the stuff she said really, its the fact that when i told her i diddnt appreciate her saying that stuff she acted as if she hadent done anything wrong...it took an hour just to make her say she would try not to say stuff like that anymore.....im confused she says shes falling in love so why does she feel the need to say stuff like that ,and kid around all the time callin me names and stuff?

My current boyfriend is 24, I'm 21. We just started dating, he asked me out officially about a week ago. Back when I was 17 him and I were really good friends although I was very promiscuous at the time (I didn't sleep around I just acted stupid when I was drunk, taking off my top, etc). His family knew me as "that promiscuous girl" who came over sometimes.
Yesterday he informed me he didn't want to tell his family about us yet and he would in due time. I understand why they'd be concerned, I wasn't a good girl back then but why won't he just tell them now? He's already talking about the future with me. Could he just be saying he doesn't want to tell his family because he's cheating or something? Why would he do this? My friends told me to not sleep with him until he is ready to make our relationship public and not keep me a "secret". I agree I think. What do you think about all this? help please!! :(

Boyfriend and girlfriend have relationship issues. Boyfriend moves out of girlfriend's house. Boyfriend and girlfriend decide to stay together but to give each other breathing space. Boyfriend "disappears" from work and his social life, so girlfriend finds out. Girlfriend meets up with Boyfriend two weeks or so later to find out what is going on with him. Girlfriend is concerned about boyfriend. Boyfriend says he is depressed and has not taken care of himself. Boyfriend tells girlfriend he still cares for her but wants to be alone. Boyfriend then asks girlfriend to wait for him, until he gets "better". Girlfriend has own problems and says that is not fair. Girlfriend calls almost everyday and does not reach boyfriend. Boyfriend finally calls two weeks later. Girlfriend was at work so she could not answer her phone. Girlfriend sees boyfriend left a message so she listens to it. The only thing girlfriend hears is a quiet giggle in the background, not from boyfriend.

My wife was invited to eat lunch by an old friend (male) she use to party with all the time. He was actually the guy she was out partying with when I met her. Anyway... she told me about it approx. 2 weeks ago and now they are going 2morrow. She invited me 2 go but I will b working and would feel out of place anyhow. It first developed as a crush in high school. Then when a little time passed by, I kept thinking about him, which is weird because I never think about one particular guy for a long period of time. I wasn't so much concerned about getting with him. I just couldn't bare seeing him unhappy. All I wanted was him to have a smile on his face. I've always done nice things for him without him knowing that I was the one who did things for him. The last time I've seen him or heard from him was the last year of high school. Since then, I haven't seen, or even heard about him at all. But I still constantly think about him, wondering if he's happy. He never knew that I felt this way about him. I don't know if he feels anything about me. I dunno. I just don't want to think about him anymore. I try so hard to not think about him, but thoughts of him always come back to my head. Why can't I stop thinking about him? It's been this way for 6-7 years. I want to get over this somehow.
