well im a woman...and the way i see it is ...if you meet a women/man and first thing they want to know is how much you make, what kinda car you drive..etc..they are golddiggers looking for a free ride. and that means...yeah i will date you, marry you...but if and when the times get tough, im outta here. is that what anyone wants??

when you love someone, you dont think about the $$. you dont worry because you feel that no matter what we will make it.

not saying i dont like the money, would be a nice added addition, but it is not what i look for.

money comes and goes, hell ...bill gates could wake up one morning and lost all his stocks etc and be flat broke.

I think it gos back to a primitive time when only a good provider could insure the survival of a woman and her offspring.
Most women would like the security of a home, food and necessities.
I disagree that men don't care about a woman's earning potential. Having a wife with money eliminates alot of stress in a man's life.

It has never mattered to me what a guy makes. Because I am an independent person who worked & supported myself. Now that I am married I want my husband to have a job that he is happy at, not one that makes him pissed off everyday he comes home, AH but he brings home that BIG paycheck.... NO.....
I have worked our whole marriage & still do, I have had 2 kids, worked. In this day & age it now takes both partners working to make a living.
Honestly people money doesn't buy love, happiness, true friendship, trust, caring, & an committed partner in your life.

I know it is important to some women, but it's never been that important to me. My husband and I have always been poor, before and after we met. I think that some women just want to have some security in the relationship. Others are just superficial, like guys that value a woman's looks over everything else.

Umm because for years now the men have been the main supporters of family and if we do stop to have your kid we want to be sure you can support us.I dont want to be breast feeding all day and working nightshift at mcdonalds to make ends meet!!!
besides if i fall out of love with you ..you need some other way to entertain me so its with money!!

My only money concerns regarding men revolve around whether he can support himself or not. It's hard enough with my paycheck to make ends meet. I'm not going to get involved with someone whom I'm going to have to support right off the bat.

cause they wanna know if you have enough money to buy them something. and im half kidding and half serious about that. and if you dont make a lot of money, the woman might think that you are slacking off and will find another man.

She's a true gold digger! A good woman would have no reason to judge you simply because of your lackluster paycheck.
