It can totally work as long as BOTH of you put the work required. I've been in one for 4 years now, he lives in Germany and i'm in California. We started dating at 16, so don't think you are too young. We are now almost 21 and we are very happy together. Just remember that a LDR takes communication, trust and honesty, if you and this guy are able to do that then you are off to a good start. Make sure you guys talk about what you expect from eachother. webcams are cool because you will be able to see eachother. I say if you and your potential guy want it to work then hey give it a shot :). good luck, and let me know if you have anymore questions

At 15, I doubt it - you will be meeting so many new guys, and he will be meeting so many new girls....

Keep in touch with him, though, because maybe some day you two will be able to get together & make it work, if you really do like each other! But I think it's a lot to ask of someone at such a young age. You both will have so many experiences & things going on in your lives, it will be hard to maintain a serious relationship over a long distance.

Just have fun with what you have with him right now. Talk on the phone, email each other, etc. Just don't expect him to be your "one & only" and vise versa.

I'm in a long distance relationship, but I'm 33, my gf is 29. you are only 15. how many people start dating at 15 and end up getting married? some do, most don't. you are still young. you want your first love to be close, so you can actually taste it. if you two are meant to be together, you will have another chance. maybe you will end up going to the same college together after 3 years.

u are young and a long distance relationship will not work. they are too complicated. if you all start a relationship i dont think that he will be all the way faithful to you. trust me. i have been in a long distance relationship and it was a disaster. he is young. young guys are not always faithful...they want to explore. its a no no!

no honey you are way too young to even be thinking about a long distance relationship it would not work out and you need to go back home and concentrate on school and home . good luck and god bless.
