I'm so confused, my ex and I broke up in September, but we're best friends and were great friends before we started dating. We went out for about a year and a half and we continue to talk a lot. He calls me everyday to ask me if I would like to go eat dinner with him, and I say yes, because I'd love to. Sometimes he holds my hand, and gives me a kiss on the cheek. I know I should probably talk to him about it, If he'd like to go back out I would go back out with him, but we just need to talk about a lot. We broke up because he didn't want to hurt me because an ex has hurt me bad in the past and he said he didn't want to turn into that. I would like to make things work as friends, or as a relationship, but I will be pleased with friends because we have a great friendship. I'm going camping with him in a few weeks, and I don't understand the phone calls, if its just him wanting someone to eat with or if he wants to go with me (we're in samedorm/samefloor/datedsincehigh school)

I really like this girl, but i'm not sure if she likes me back. one day in school a group of kids blurted out nick ( me ) and colleen ( my crush ) sitting in a tree. K I S S I N G. she didn't really seem to react in any way. i, although, blushed, ran out of the classroom to the bathroom to hide, and was just embarissed.

about 6 months later, when i changed schools, one of colleens friends Instant Messaged me saying, " do you still like colleen?" she logged off before i could answer.

does this mean that colleens friend likes me, colleen likes me, or neither? im new to the love thing.

My new girlfriend, whom I met the other week, isn't giving it up everyday like a lot of my exes have in the past. We have only had sex three times this week, and I haven't gotten any since Saturday. I am about to go insane! The sexual frustration is killing me and masturbation just isn't the same, as you all know. Should I hook up with other girls for one-nighters whenever my current girlfriend withholds? Or should I try to get her to make sex a daily ritual (twice a day on weekends)?

there is this really hot guy and i really like him and he has been dropping hints that he likes me andim too embarressed to talk to him and still be able to ask him out and all the ambassaders i have will either tell him what is really going on when i send them or are too embarressed also cuz they they dont like boys as friends and when i talk to him he just thinks im talking to him as a friend cuz im the only girl thats not a complete tomboy who has friends that are boys so what do i do now!?!?!?!

My girlfriend broke it off with me and told me that in the beginning she didn't want a relationship & that she was not moving from Dallas or leaving her job. She said that it still holds true and that she does not want to hurt me. I know she told me all that in the very beginning and she has been very honest & up front. She had told me that she has never lived on her own before after getting out of a 12 year relationship and she was finding out who she was and she wanted to finish her therapy before she got involved with anyone because she didn't want to bring any problems into a relationship. We have been together for 3 months now. She said that I am ready for a relationship and she is not & that it is not fair to me to continue on like we have been doing. I know she loves me & I love her, but she seems so set on this. She said she would always love me. What do you do? I have never heard of this. "No" she does not have anyone else. She is different and is so honest & up front.

but when we get together he's all over me. The sex is still awesome and when he holds me I feel like I can lay there forever. His lifestyle is what keeps him busy but I still feel like he can answer me sometimes. We talk in the morning and then thats it until around 10 or 11 at night. I don't think he's cheating but then again I don't want to sound naive like it couldn't be happening. Sometimes I feel like i can't breathe without him and every time he ignores me it feels like another knife was stabbed through my heart. Should I leave him? I know he loves me too I just don't know what to do in this situation. It's crazy because usually I'm the one giving the advice not asking for it!!! Help me out what would you do ladies!?

Their is a student teacher.....He's quite young and I'm almost 18 about to be leaving school soon! I don't know if its just me being paranoid BUT......he always seems to stare at me a little longer than normal.....and when he speaks to everyone else he stands up but with me he crouches down to talk and makes eye contact. Just the other day it felt so much like he was in my "personal space" while he was speaking to me.....=]....i enjoyed it lol

Anyways.... a couple of days ago we were reading a book where it had a kissing scene and he stopped reading and started to discuss it with the class and when he was speaking about it he kept looking at me... do you think he likes me?

PS: i know this is not relevant to what i just asked but a few people say we would look good together and it seems like we have the same sense of humor.....He also looks a bit like me in a way (not trying to say I'm a man or anything.....)

i mean, i dont find myself that attractive (not that ugly either) today, i was walking in school and some guy is with his friend and looks at me then his friend looks at me. prob cuz of my breasts and im not paranoid, thats usually what happens. anyway, this is my real question. if i were truly ugly would guys bother to tell their friends about some girl with a big chest even if they know she isnt pretty? i want to know because i am not sure if the breasts are the only thing they find attractive about me or if at least they find me a little attractive. sorry if im not explaining clearly..

Currently i am in college and so far ive been doing alright. my classes start in the morning around 8 am and ends at 1 pm, after my classes end i go to straight to work from 1 to 6 and after work it takes me about an hour to get out of the traffic. At the end of the day i am just to tired and stressed out to do anything. At the same time i got a long research paper thats due in 2 weeks. for a while i was thinking of quiting my job to concentrate on school but i have to help the family get out of debt and that pretty much uses up all of the money i make. all of this is starting to affect my grades in school. i thought of getting a girlfriend, but no luck their either, i keep avoiding girls
i must be shy or something, i just don't know what to say.
what do you think i should do, all of these things are really stressing me out.

I was reading this article awhile back, and a relationship therapist said sometimes during dating women withhold sex hoping it will make the relationship more serious and cemented, when in fact men are able to form closer bonds if sex is present in the relationship. (She did not advocate jumping into bed right away, simply when the people felt ready). However, I know a lot of women hold out longer than they want to to prove they are "good girls".

According to that article it is the wrong thing to do- actually becoming intimate when both are ready to, without worrying about society's judgment on the situation cements the relationship more and makes a man feel closer to you.

Do you think that that is true? I find for myself, I have a hard time waiting very long to become intimate anyway, since sex is an important part of the relationship aspect for me, and I need to find out if I will be sexually compatible with the person...

I've been with my boyfriend for a year and some months, and he sometimes mentions his past sexual experiences very lightly, as if it were a topic about ..movies.. as an example.

When do you think its okay to start mentioning the PAST sexual experiences in a relationship.. or should they even be mentioned at all?
Do you think it is better for them to be mentioned in the first place so you know if you two are on the same page?
