Singles & Dating - 1 November 2007

Hello everyone I'm brand new to yahoo answers! My oldest daughter uses this site and loves it. I'm not sure I know how to post my question so I am in hope that this works.

My youngest daughter is transfering college next semester. She has to move out by December 13.

Now she live in the dorms on campus and she is moving to a new dorm on new campus. .

When should I advise my daughter to begin packing and organizing her things for the transfer.

My husband and I have only moved once in our life and that was from China to United States years ago.

We have been going strong for quite sometime now, and things have been going pretty good (regular dates, no fights, and plenty of smiles). However recently we both have been pretty stressed about different things in our lives. We are still together, but our attention was focused elsewhere for the moment. Now that things are kind of back to normal in terms of our daily lives, it seems that its a lot less give and take from her end. I am the one that makes the phone calls, and I am the one that schedules the dates. I don't want to confront her about it if I don't have to, but I don't want to break up with her either. We both believe that we are perfect for each other, and we have both decided on a commitment. But it is really irritating to feel like the only one to all the work. ANY ADVICE??

Right, A Few Months Ago I Told This Girl I Liked Her & She Was Ok With It, By The Way She Has A Boyfriend, I Know I Should Never Of Said Anything When A Girl Is Taken. Weeks Went By & It Got Harder & Harder Because I Was Falling Deeper & Deeper In Love With Her, I Told Her I Loved Her & She Was All I Thought About. She Stoped Talking To Me, Ignoring Me & Everything, For About A Month. Then I Said I've Moved, I've Found Myself A Girlfriend, She Seemed Happy For Me & Said Sorry We Couldn't Remain Friends After I Told Her How I Felt, She Diddn't Know How To Handle It, She'd Never Had Anyone Feel So Strongly For Her That She Wasn't Going Out With.

But The Other Night, I Said I Still Had Feelings For Her & Shes Ignoring Me Again, I Said I Was Leaving My Job (Because I Work With Her) & She Just Said Good Riddence, I Don't Know What To Do, i Think She Hates Me, She Seems So Happy Without Me Playing Any Part In her Life.

we went out for 3years and he broke up with me a year ago, we cut off all communications. Out of nowhere he comments a picture of a car on myspace. I deleted it, put up another one and he comments it again! All of a sudden, he puts a picture of his gf (which he got with 2months after we broke up) in that same car. I dont believe it's by coincidence he decided to do it. I haven't done anything to him, why is he suddenly trying to get me jealous? if that's the case. thanks in advance

I'm trying to get over him slowly and it just makes it more difficult. But i still love him.

I've been dating 2 women since about Jan of this year. They both knew what was going on. After a long time sitting on the fence I was going to choose woman A. But woman B is now pregnant. I dont want to leave her to be a single mother but Im in love with the other woman.

Woman A lives out of state and has a 7 yr old son of her own. She is still willing to come down and be with me. Woman B lives here and has no children. I made the decision to be with woman B for the baby. They both know that. Both know that I'd rather be with woman A. I'm very frustrated and do not want to continue this "relationship" w/ woman B. I dont want to feel a constant animosity towards her and the relationship. But Im not happy.

Anyone have any thoughts....?

So me and this guy have been talking for sometime and I am kind of not sure what to do I know he likes me and I finally told him that I like him but he never calls me I always have to call him the only time he calls me is if I go 2 or 3 days without calling him I mean we don't go out or anything but if he’s really interested in me why doesn't he call and when ever I get on him for not calling he gets mad. So what should I do should I stick around and wait till he gets his act together or should I just try to move on? I really like him but he drives me crazy!!

He's a freshman and im a senior,(high school) and i never ever feel comfortable with older guys. but usually, i never feel comfortable with any guy. Except with him, i put my head on his shoulder (which is something i can never do) and i just felt real comfortable. I've been thinking about him a lot too. And i don't know if i like him or not, i've always had trouble with guys i assume cause i was raped when i was a child, but he just seems different. Only when im around him though, when im not i always think of that bad things about him, but when he's around, i want him to stay with me. So what should i do? is this normal?

Okay i met this guy about two months ago, he stopped me while i was leaving the doctors office and asked me for directions. We both exchanged numbers, he's very sweet and well always telling me, how cute i am and how he enjoys my company. We have seem each other only a few times, though we live 20mins from each other. We're both very busy working and well only have time once a week to see each other. I've asked him numerous times to meet my mom and he keeps finding excuses. He said he had a bad experience with his ex mother, so i give him time, then asked him again. Now he's still saying no! I do really care for him, when i am around him i feel like nothing else in the world matters. However it's difficult to be with someone who rarely calls you or texts you. He's always so busy. Well my friend Erika broke up w/ her BF and Cordell (our best friend and the guy I like) asked her out and she said yes. Well after I found out, during 2nd period the other day, he sits beside me and I was so mad at him that I ignored him. He kept pushing me and asking what was wrong and I told him it was because he was going out with Erika. Erika knows I like Cordell and he knows that I like him! Well the same day that they started going out, during 3rd period I sit beside Erika and she told me that she was gonna break up with Cordell because she still likes her ex. I couldn't believe it. Later I thought about the way that I treated Cordell and I felt really bad about it! I wrote him a note today explaining everything and I told him that I should have done what a good friend would have done and supported him instead of acting like a jerk. ok here is the thing my hair is naturaly mousy brown i never ever got a boyfriend until i turned 13 and i dyed my hair bleech blonde and wore make-up, i ammiediatly got boys even men looking at me thinking i was 17 18 , i hated the attention somtimes drove me made then i got called dumb alot!..so i dyed my hair dark brown just after my 15th, all the looking stopped i liked it but boys became less interested saying i like blondes..so after a year of beiing brunette i bleeched it back i got the attention back!

but i just want to know why blondes seem more attractive

My bf and I recently broke up. He's 24, I'm 23. The Dean of our law school got involved because we had a loud fight outdoors. She's made both of sign a promise that we won't speak for a year. I really can't imagine not speaking to the person who was my best friend for an entire year. I feel that what the Dean is making us do is ridiculous and pointless. At any rate, I have to comply. How can I not speak to someone I love, care about, and see in class everyday?

Just about 2 weeks ago my girlfriend left me. Since then I've been feeling lost and empty. I miss her so much and i want her back. And there was a time when i did actually feel like the luckiest guy in world to have her. We've been dating since the middle of summer and just being with her were the best times of my life. There was one problem though, we never really talked. We lacked communication, and i know that communication is the key to a good relationship. One thing lead to another and it seemed like she eventually became uncomfortable and bored with me. She insists that we stay friends and just move on. Her minds on different things now. Ok...4 years ago I met this guy! He was just someone that hungout with my friends no big deal right.

Well one night I got kinda intoxicated and kissed him and told all these things. After that we didnt really talk much.

Then I went out without with his best friend. We still really didn't talk much...until I cheated on my boyfriend at the time with him. Who was his best friend! So as you can assume I broke up with my b/f...to go hook up with the other guy. When I did this...he already hooked up with one my good friends...

Fast Forward to now.

I was still friends with him thru all this. Until I notice his girlfriend was cheating on him with my ex b/f(his bestfriend). Of course I told him...he broke up with her!

Now this is what I dont get...I started dating him...but everyone thinks I'm like this big time homewrecker! He had like 300 reasons why to break up with her and her cheating was just the icing for the cake!

So am I a homewrecker?
