Well my friend Erika broke up w/ her BF and Cordell (our best friend and the guy I like) asked her out and she said yes. Well after I found out, during 2nd period the other day, he sits beside me and I was so mad at him that I ignored him. He kept pushing me and asking what was wrong and I told him it was because he was going out with Erika. Erika knows I like Cordell and he knows that I like him! Well the same day that they started going out, during 3rd period I sit beside Erika and she told me that she was gonna break up with Cordell because she still likes her ex. I couldn't believe it. Later I thought about the way that I treated Cordell and I felt really bad about it! I wrote him a note today explaining everything and I told him that I should have done what a good friend would have done and supported him instead of acting like a jerk. I told him I was really sorry and said that I hope he can 4give me. Do you have any advice on what I could do to show him that I'm truley sorry?

the note I gave him was long but it mostly said: Cordell, I'm so so so sorry for the way I treated you and I'm really sorry about it! I really hope you can forgive me. But you know as well as I do that I could never stay mad at you! It's impossible! But no matter what or how mad I am at you, I'll always be there for you and I'll always Love You!

I don't have a BF but I have liked Cordell for a while and I feel really extremely bad about acting like such a loser yesterday and I want to do something to show him that I am so very sorry for treating him the way I did!

Thnx for helping me!

You asked for forgiveness if he forgives you then its a happy day. In the bible it essentially says it is now his choice to forgive you or not if he chooses no to its his problem. Just wait and give it time.

Well, you could grow up and not pass notes like you are a 4th grader. Come on, why can't kids grow some guts and just talk to each other? I mean, if he is your friend, why do you need to pass him a note. It's stupid. You should just tell him you are sorry for acting like a dramatic 7 year old. He should forgive you....if he sees past the immaturity, that is.

I think you did just fine....you had a knee-jerk reaction to some disturbing news, so you acted out. Afterwards you apologized sincerely. Nicely done. I don't think he'll have any trouble forgiving you....now go ahead and forgive yourself.

You said you were sorry and offered your support. Not much else you can do besides that. If he's a good friend, he'll understand and get over it. Good luck!
